The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Two night minimum stay on weekends.
Deposit is non--refundable. Cancellation before 90 days is refundable for balance paid. If dates are re-rented, payment is 100% refundable.
There is an exterior camera at the entrance to the cabin/front door.

Fantastic location. Went on a golf trip and property was no more than 30 minutes from three golf courses. Host was fantastic at communication. Property was amazing. More than enough room for us (9 people). Property was clean and as described.

My friends and I have an annual retreat every year. This year we chose Kentucky and were able to visit nearby distilleries in Frankfort. The property offers privacy and great amenities. I would absolutely recommend to others!

Perfect for family fun!

Beautiful property with plenty to do! Very well kept home. Kids and adults all enjoyed playing games together downstairs and exploring the yard and trails! Would definitely stay here again!

Great Property for a Group

This location was exactly as advertised, if not better. Great location off the road to give you privacy. We had 10 people staying for the bourbon trail and our tour company had no issues getting to the property. Overall great stay! Would love to visit again!

Great Cabin in the Country

Our family really enjoyed staying at the cabin after my mom's service. There were 13 of us and it was just right with plenty seating, lots of kitchen dishes, pans, bathroom towels and supplies. Lots of games for entire family to enjoy and had smores at the fire pit. The owners were very kind and have done a great job of upkeep on the cabin. Three of our grandkids got to see snow for the first time. Praying our family gets to return to stay in this cabin again.

Beach friends at cabin

Ohio and Tennessee friends meet half way for fun! There were 10 of us and we had plenty place to lounge and sleep! Location was secluded, but you were 20 mins away from stores and restaurants.

Bourbon Trail Guys Trip

Great property in beautiful location. It was good for a guys trip to Bourbon country. There was 5 in our group but the house wouldn't hold too many more. The main TV area seats 5 on the couches. The dining table seats 8. Too many bunk beds. Just something to consider when you are bringing a larger group. that being said I would stay here again with a small group.

Family Christmas

We stayed here for several days the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day for a family Christmas. We had 22 in our group and we were all very comfortable with lots of room to spread out! We enjoyed the pool table and games in the basement. The cabin was decked out for Christmas with a beautiful live tree. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed! There were also numerous board games to choose from. Some of us also enjoyed fishing in the pond and walking the trails. We made many happy memories here! Thank you!

BATTY FAMILY CHRISTMAS

The property is great. There were lots of activities for us to do. Unfortunately, the roll away beds weren’t working so we had people on the floor on mattresses. The windows in the living room were a little dirty with some sticky substance. However, there was room for 20 of us all age ranges and we had a great time.

Family stay for wedding

We communicated with property manager ahead of time about our family (28 of us!) staying at the cabin, and hosting a dinner for 70 in the barn. They were so helpful and answered our questions quickly. There were beds and linens for all (4 bedrooms so lots of bunking up - and rollaways in the lower game room level) - and the property is lovely. The barn worked well for our dinner (round tables and chairs for seating and long tables for buffet are included) - and everyone had a nice time. Plenty of outdoor space to spread out. Property was a pretty 45 minute drive to Louisville where the wedding was held.

Cabin on the hill

We joined other family members (17 of us) for a vacation together. The house was nice and clean but we had a few issues. The post listed to gas grills but there was only one. This hindered some of our meal planning & prep. I reached out to the owners but was told they hadn’t brought down the other grill. I was also informed the day we arrived that two of the beds in one of the bedrooms were busted by the previous guests. We were able to figure something out though. Someone previously posted the lack of comfortable seating and I agree. All in all it was a nice stay though. We really enjoyed checking out Frankfort.

Came up to Kentucky for bourbon trail tours and the Kentucky game.Twelve guys had plenty of space, grilled out, caught and released catfish, all at a reasonable distance from Louisville, Frankfort, and Lexington. Perfect middle spot away in nature.Nice, clean house, beautiful property.

We stayed with a group of 21 (including 7 kids). The home was clean, and the photos are accurate. It’s in a quiet, private location with good access to Frankfort and nearby distilleries. The kitchen had the basics, though the coffee maker was very slow (30 minutes per pot) and the refrigerator is a standard side-by-side—not ideal for a large group.While the listing advertises sleeping space for 29, many of these are cots or beds in open areas. There are only two true bedrooms: a master with a queen bed and broken pull-out sofa, and a basement room with a full bunk. There’s a large bunk room with 9 beds, and the rest of the sleeping areas lack privacy.There are only three bathrooms, one inside the master suite, so expect some coordination with a group. The house may technically sleep 29, but it doesn’t have the infrastructure to support that number comfortably. We’d recommend it for smaller groups (20 or fewer), or for guests who don’t mind shared sleeping arrangements—like a bachelor party.Overall, we had a good family trip, but future guests should be aware of the limitations when planning.

My husband and I bought the land for Chandler Ridge in 2003, we began building that fall and by Spring 2005 the lodge was open for guests. We love to travel and have been very blessed to see some of the world so far. I have always wanted a log cabin of my own, but never dreamed of building a retreat facility. I have been in the hospitality business in some form since I was 18 so hosting guests from all over the world was not a big step for me. My husband is a great do it all kinda guy and we have built several things together. By far, the cabin is our favorite and we hope you enjoy it too.

This beautiful 20 acres is wonderfully located to experience all Kentucky has to offer. Halfway between Louisville and Lexington and just south of Cincinnati, we are in the ideal spot for seeing all aspectsof the Bluegrass State.
