More than pleasant stay

The apartment is in a small town/village with everything you need, bakery, butcher, grocery and bistro. The hosts are super sweet, very welcoming and caring and still in the process of further enhancing the place. The apartment has everything you need, is very clean, decorated with a lot of love and a good eye for detail. I would come back any time!

We had a short stay in Florence’s authentic house, from the late 19h century, which was renovated recently , creating exquisite feel. it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a great holiday . We enjoyed the use of the large terrace with comfortable patio furniture and conveniently designated smoking areas. I would definitely recommend

Perfect gite in a beautiful location

We have just had the most wonderful week’s stay with Florence and family in their beautiful and very comfortable gite. Their hospitality was second to none and they had thought of every detail to make our stay extremely comfortable. The decor was fresh and stylish and the gite was spotless and fully equipped with very good quality furniture and appliances. Patio doors lead to a stunning, private patio for sole use of the gite, where we dined in tranquility every day. There is also secure private parking on site just outside the gite. They welcomed our dog and made it easy for us to find walks to take her on, even though our French is not terribly good. The little touches of fresh fruit, home made confiture and eggs were greatly appreciated - they were the best apricots I have ever tasted. Saint Laurent de Pape is a lovely small town with cycling and walking from the door and river swimming and kayaking very nearby with stunning views over the surrounding countryside, where we saw lots of wildlife. It is in easy driving distance of several larger towns which are well worth a visit, Valence, Privas and La Voutle sur Rhône and there are plenty of good supermarkets nearby. Thank you for a lovely stay in your beautiful gite, we hope to return soon, when we have been back to French class, so we can use the new pool.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Florence et Thierry, toujours prêts à rendre service et d'une grande gentillesse. Le logis est confortable et décoré avec goût par Florence qui a le don de transformer le moindre objet en décoration originale. Ils nous ont fait des propositions de visites variées que nous avons adoptées et très appréciées. Le gîte est idéalement placé entre Ardèche et Drome, proche de beaucoup de sites à découvrir. Super séjour chez Florence et Thierry. Gîte aménagé avec beaucoup de goût, avec tout le nécessaire.
