Kenneth, We apologize for any miscommunication and any inconvenience during your stay. We are sorry that the home did not meet your expectations. There is quarterly pest control for the home, and any time there are any bugs in the house, they will come out and spray. We also have flea treatment after each guest stay with a dog. While we did call the next morning to answer your initial questions and to follow up, we sincerely apologize that no issues were resolved during your stay. However, We have triple-checked our records and cannot find any phone calls, e-mails or guest portal requests about any pest issue. The screen door is a maintenance issue due to the windiness of the area, and wear and tear. The door has been repaired to date. The cleaning staff, OIA management staff and the owner are diligent in reporting and resolving any maintenance items, service issues (pest control) and any other issues at the property. We further acknowledge and apologize that our responses were delayed beyond our normal standards when you attempted to follow up with us in late August. However, Hurricane Idalia was projected to potentially impact our area, which resulted in a suspension of some of our internal processes as we prepared our homes for the storm's arrival and coordinated with guests whose stays might be directly impacted, delayed or cancelled. While we were lucky to escape any damages from this storm, it certainly caused some disruptions to our normal communication timelines.
