Cozy and comfortable accommodations that were perfect for a base to head out for hiking and exploring the forest areas around Tonto Basin. Great kitchen and spacious living area good for a group. Enjoyed having a grill and fire pit to use.
This is a great place near the lake and set up well for a family trip. Great amenities and beautiful views from every window and balcony. The cabin is well equipped with everything you may need.
We had a great time visiting the lake and this cabin worked out great! The outdoor shower was broken(dang gophers) but the cabin is nice and close to the market. The host is fantastic and communicates quick. Can’t wait to go again!!
The listing was perfectly depicted in listing. Beautiful views of Tonto Basin! Beds were comfortable and home was spic and span. Host is very accommodating and always responsive. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
This place was perfect for our family Labor Day weekend trip. The cabin has everything you need and the property has amazing views. Although it seems like you are in the middle of nowhere, you are close to the lake, a bar & restaurant and a grocery/hardware store.
Very nice place and had an enjoyable stay. In general very clean except for previous occupants undergarments left in the bathroom and no dish soap to wash dishes.
My family has stayed at over 20 properties using VRBO. I have never seen more caring people then the owners of this property. They were always there to answer every question and never let me down. Thanks again for caring about my family. We will be back

We really appreciate the kind words. We understand traveling with family and glad we made you feel comfortable and met your needs. Have a blessed day. Looking forward to a future stay.
Home was designed awesome for any family and outdoor type!! Had a huge yard with a firepit. Plenty of parking for multiple vehicles or any toys or trailers you might have! We were able to park our boat with ease right close to the house. The Host was by far the most accommodating we have ever had…. They let us check in early in the morning the first day and even let us check out later on the last day! Would definitely rent and recommend this house again! Thank you!!!
We loved our stay at this Tonto Basin house. It was a perfect lake home away from home. Once you past the LITERAL creek with water in it (no problem for us with our truck and boat, but if there are rains this could be a challenge) the house was right around the corner and very easy to spot.
Inside everything was clean and nicely decorated in chic rustic lake cabin. It had everything we needed and we can't wait to go back! A perfect place to go back to after a great day on the lake.
The home is perfect for a getaway! We went for the Payson Rodeo. The house was perfect for the 6 of us. We want to go back possibly for fishing, hunting and trail riding.
Great location for so many outdoor adventures!
The homeowners are great! We were there during a monsoon storm which caused concerns about the creek level. Stephanie was awesome! She kept in contact and shared a website we could use to monitor water levels. Her concern for our safety meant a lot!
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the home for your next getaway.

Our stay here was amazing. The house is super nice and homey and the views it provides of the surrounding mountains are amazing. You’re minutes from the lake and the mountains for recreational vehicle use. It is minutes from the pumpkin center bar if your group wants to get food or socialize and the atmosphere is very peaceful. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
