Close access to Dreher Island State park with 2 boat ramps. Well appointed kitchen. Gas grill on patio. Cornhole and darts. Excellent for families, fishing, fun. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation. This is not a handicap accessible house. Instacart from Publix Chapin. Fifteen minutes from Chapin restaurants. Perfect for USC- University of South Carolina visits or graduations. Great for fishing tournaments, eco tourism, boating, paddlebording, and kayaking. Fire pit with large seating area. This property is absolutely gorgeous and a fantastic value per night. The yard and dock were well kept, lake access couldn’t have been easier! The house was spotless, the bedrooms were perfect and the kitchen had everything you would need to cook while enjoying your stay. The hosts answered quickly with the very few questions that we had, there wasn’t much to ask because everything was so well set up! I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a lake vacation stay or if you’re looking to fish this awesome lake.

I was specifically searching for wheelchair accessible accommodations as my wife is a stroke survivor and confined to one. The house was immaculate, a beautifully remodeled lakefront older home with a spectacular view. I’ll definitely give the home what it is due. My issues arise with the wheelchair side of my needs. The home lacked serious wheelchair friendly accommodations.If you’re looking for a beautiful lakefront getaway then this could be a great fit for you. If you need something for wheelchair accessibility, keep looking.

Vaughn sorry to hear about your issues. We did not know about your needs and we do not advertise that this is a handicap accessible house. We do have a sister house which is and we could have accommodated you and your wife there. We did give you a refund when you moved out. We take our guest experience very seriously. In 8 years of operating multiple properties this is only the second time we’ve received less than a five star rating. That’s over hundreds of stays. We wish you and your wife well and will modify our VRBO information to make it very clear this house is not handicap accessible.

Great stay on the lake

Our stay was fantastic! I highly recommend staying here. House was great, very clean, great layout, great location. Backyard, deck and dock were all fantastic. Owner was great and communicated quickly. We are booking again for next year.
