While Kristen was a great guest. She very clearly failed to read the listing prior to booking but made no mention of these things to us during her stay as we would have tried to accomodate her. As the listing states we provide a "starter kit" two rolls of toilet paper for each bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a few dish detergent pods, and a few trash bags. We do not supply coffee filters as the unit has a Keurig and a traditional coffee pot so its at the guests discretion on how they want to make coffee, we do not provide laundry soap because our unit does not have laundry machines. After the "starter kit" is used up it is the guests responsibility to purchase more if they need more. Unfortunately we are left with a 3 star review for being clear and descriptive of what we provide and what we do not provide. If you have questions as a guest please ask us prior to making your booking.

Larry, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m not sure what “No Beach” refers to the beach was roughly 200 yards wide at low tide and about 50 yards wide at high tide during your stay. Tide levels can change daily based on wind, weather, and the moon cycle, which sometimes makes the beach appear smaller than usual. Sorry if the conditions during your visit made it difficult to enjoy what’s typically one of the widest stretches of beach in the United States.

Hello Marilyn, Thank you for staying with us. This review does not sound like a 3 star stay but more so a 5 star stay. The furnace likely has not been used since last year as it only gets cold enough in Florida to warrant use maybe once or Twice per year. The filter was just replaced on December 29th. Due for a replacement once per month on January 29th again. Unfortunately when guests leave the sliders open it causes them to get dirtier much faster. We are Glad the unit was otherwise clean.

Thank you for your business Crystal, I am glad you enjoyed our condo. While we have no control over the building access keys (That is a condo association issue) I will give them this information. What happens is most people have their key throughout the day and when it gets covered in sand at the beach it does not get properly rinsed off before being used to unlock building doors and those door locks start to get sand built up inside the lock making it difficult to use those keys.

This is a very unfortunate review. It is very misleading and inaccurate. 1. There were holes drilled by the Condo Association without our approval to mitigate any water that had gotten in from the storm. Because the unit has tile pulling the baseboards does not allow enough air flow for drying equipment to work. I would agree they over drilled but the unit was dried, holes patched, and waiting to be sanded and painted. This would not effect anyones stay in any capacity and has since been finished. 2. The balcony was open for Kathy's use every day except one. She found an old "balcony closed sign" from months prior and instead of asking us about it they just presumed the balcony was closed. The day the balcony was closed they had used epoxy to fix some areas where water was pooling on the new poured concrete balcony. We did not know about this closure until 24 hours prior which we notified Kathy of and offered compensation for the problem. It was only then that we learned Kathy's group had not been using the balcony because of old flyer they found. 3. We never told Kathy or anyone for that matter that the construction would be done in 2024. We would not tell anyone that as it is a 3 year project beginning the Fall of 2022 and that is without delays. The project is ongoing with no definitive end date as of right now. That is what we tell every guest who books. We thank Kathy for her business and are happy that we could update any future travelers on these issues.

Thank you for the wonderful review. Daytona beach is known to not have many shells being on the Atlantic side of the ocean but you are correct there is morning the morning before high tide. There was a broom in the entry closet, had I known it was gone I would have been happy to drop one by. Because the building is a bit older there was never electric in ceiling so a ceiling fan could not be hung but I will purchase some fans and put them in the unit. Lastly, the living room and master bedroom have cable, both have a cable box and the ability to select the spectrum app so you can stream cable. The kids room just has a smart tv with all the normal apps but no regular cable. Again your business is greatly appreciated and I hope we will see you again soon!
