About Sandra or Warren Bondi

In case you are wondering who we are, and where we are from,the next few tidbits should clue you in.Warren and I both grew up in the New Orleans metro area. We were childhood sweethearts and have been married for 32 years. We have one son Warren II, a beautiful daughter-in-law, and an adorable granddaughter that we just love to pieces. We were your average family just going about life until one historical day. On August 29, 2005 our lives were forever changed. Hurricane Katrina destroyed our community and our home.Our home was just eight months old when Katrina's waters ravaged its walls. We had eight feet of water for three weeks in our home. Our families being as close as we are, all were in the same surrounding area. We found ourselves in a very unfair predicament. No one had a home or belongings. We only had each other which later proved to be far better than any materialistic thing.We rebuilt our home and our families homes.You learn a lot about life when everything else is gone.The simple things mean so much more. You never take for granted whats here today. It just might not be there tomorrow. We can't get the old pictures back so we have to rely on our memory for those special times we shared. We have new pictures now and and new memories and a bigger appreciation for those special times.

Why Sandra or Warren Bondi chose Sandestin

Warren and I first stayed in Sanddestin the summer of 2006. We decided we needed to get out of town and bring our son and a friend who had also lost his home with us just to get the kids away from all of the destruction before they went back to school. We ended up in the Village because it was a last minute trip and the beach was all booked up. We had always gone to Destin but always stayed on the beach. Once we stayed in the Village we have never stayed on the beach again. It was New Orleans all over for us. Only without the destruction and the new construction going on at home. We fell in love with The village of Baytowne Wharf and vowed to each other once we got back on our feet we would have a place to call home in Sanddestin. We moved back in our house in June of 2007 and in February of 2009 we purchased our condo in Observation Point North.The Warrens and I LOVE Vacations. We love Destin, Cruising and just about any destination. Not much notice is needed and we are on our way.

What makes this condo unique

Our condo gives us the best of both worlds. The balcony puts us right in the center of it all overlooking events plaza. The unit is also steps away from the pool. If we want the beach we can be there in a jiffy.We can sit outside and read a book. We have taken our condo and tried to give it a sense of New Orleans. We love our condo and we know our guest will too.

A time to recharge

Beautiful condo with an amazing room! Truly a place to relax and recharge and we will be back again next year. Even though upon our arrival, the plumber was there fixing a few leaks, this did not interfere with our vacation. Once finished, smooth sailing for the following four nights. Wish this place was mine and mine alone.

Great location!!!

The condo is in the heart of Baytowne Wharf. The view is great and the location cannot be beat. Near resturants, the pool and live music. Children’s activities are just outside your door. The condo was extremely clean and well stocked. Parking is just below the condo.

This was our second stay at Baytowne Wharf. The property is perfect for families with children!

We had a great time! The condo was spotless, the beds were very comfortable,

and all the furnishings looked new. The balcony overlooks the village and all the weekly activities. We watched the fireworks from the balcony and had a spectacular view.

The condo was equipped with all the amenities including a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender, tableware, silverware and plenty of pots and pans. The condo has a regular size washer and dryer. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect vacation rental.

Vacation that entire family enjoys

Sandestin resort is hard to beat for a beach vacation whether going with family, group of friends or w/ significant other.

The beach is fantastic but there is so much more to do regardless of age or interests.

Our condo was wonderful. I especially like the balcony overlooking the village. It has a great location for going to the pool, strolling anywhere in village or the parking garage.

The condo had plenty of space. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the accessories, the washer/dryer in the condo, plenty of towels, beach chairs/umbrella, a keypad entry and even a Keurig coffee maker. The only issues with the unit were very minor. The sliding door for the master closet is broken and will not stay on the track which made it quite cumbersome to get into closet. Also, the two televisions were small and very old. Lastly, there is very little pantry/storage space for food. Again, very minor and I would not hesitate to call Sandie first when renting a unit in Sandistin
