This two floor one bedroom appartment has everything you will need for your MDI stay. Conveniently located the rental is 7 miles from the town of Bar Harbor, 5 miles from Acadia National Park and 0.2 miles from Hadley Point Beach.
Our one bedroom one bath appartment has a full kitchen and living room area on the first floor. The second floor has another sitting area, a king size bed and full bathroom. The couch on the first floor is a full size pull out if needed.
Our appartment is located in a quiet wooded neighborhood perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. In the evening walk down to Hadley Point Beach for fantastic sunsets. Bring along chairs and have a campfire down at the beach!

Had a great time staying in Bar Harbor and this place was great for where it was located 10-15mins form downtown and a quick trip to the Hadley point to watch a sunrise or sunset was very nice. Recommend to anyone visiting Bar Harbor

Quiet house tucked away in a peaceful forested neighborhood 10mins from down town Bar Harbor away from the crowds and close to a small local beach area. The hosts were down to earth, attentive and very knowledgeable about the area. Everything was very clean. They had a well maintained garden/patio/firepit area with hummingbirds buzzing in everyday. I highly recommend!

Cleanest place we've ever stayed — my wife said it best. The hosts were incredibly friendly, warm, and went out of their way to help. The location was perfect: a beautiful wooded setting just a 5-minute walk to the beach. We'd choose this place again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay.Plenty of room for 2.The garden out back is beautiful. We had numerous hummingbird visits during meals.The apartment is attached to the owners house, so we did hear some household sounds, but nothing disturbed us. The owner is super friendly. The house has well water, but there is a filtered pitcher. It tasted fine and did not smell at all. The parking was a little tight. This location is really close to Hadley Point Beach, which is good for sunsets and great for kayaking with Red at Acadia Sea Kayaking Adventures. We also found the location great for visiting both halves of Mount Desert Island. Location also close to C-Ray Lobster (delicious!).

This has been a most wonderful place to stay in between all of the hiking and shopping we did. The apartment is very spacious and clean. We loved every minute of being there. We enjoyed sitting outside and looking up at the stars. The one day it was cold and raining, it was nice to come back and relax. We couldn't ask for a better place to hang out after hiking all day! We both highly recommend this place to everyone! Dave, the host, also has a very nice garden in the back yard and you can see the hummingbirds flitting from flower to flower. If we come back to Acadia/Bar Harbor, we would definitely ask to come back here again. It is just the perfect spot to hang out after being outside all day. Mike and Rachel

This property and experience exceeded our expectations. Very well located for visiting Acadia National Park. Very peaceful location but near to everything. Pleasant surprises: air conditioning was not listed in the amenities, but the downstairs and upstairs both had split AC units. Weber grill available for grilling. Fire pit available with firewood provided. Laundry room available. Kitchen had everything necessary for cooking. And the hosts were friendly and helpful!

We really enjoyed our stay - this was our second time staying at this property. It is quiet, has a well stocked kitchen so we were able to cook everything easily. The kitchen looks out onto a beautiful garden. We saw lots of different birds including humming birds each day while having breakfast. The bed is comfortable. There were lots of great touches including fresh flowers. The hosts are friendly, very responsive to questions. It is short drive to Bar Harbor and the Hull Cove park entrance. We look forward to staying there again.

The proximity to the park and to Bar Harbor is superb. We saw a magnificent sunset from Hadley Point. The space was clean and well-kept with the basic necessities for kitchen and bath provided.

We enjoyed our stay at David's place. Check in was smooth, the place was very peaceful with enchanting garden and within walking distance to Hadley Point Beach. David was very kind and responsive and the place was well stocked with basic kitchen amenities. We highly recommend this place.

It was a great place to stay. Very clean, easy to find, and cozy. Perfect for 2-4 people. It is walking distance to Hadley point beach and about 8min to downtown bar harbor & 6min to Acadia National Park. The apartment is connected to the hosts home where they live full time. Although it is connected to their home, we had a private entrance, they were responsive to any questions we had, but otherwise kept to themselves. There is not a wash/dryer in the apartment, I believe it is in the hosts home right inside the door that connects the apartment to the house. This door was locked the entire time we were there & we didn’t need to use the washer/dryer so I am not 100% sure where it was located or how to access it (assuming you would just text or call the owner, he was very nice). Overall it was a great place for the price. Clean, cozy, lots of space, and close driving distance to the park, downtown, and the town of Trenton!

I could not have asked for a better stay! The house was the perfect setup. Lots of space and super homey. Also walking distance to Hadley point - a locals beach spot. You can also walk to the campground across the street and take the island explorer to town for FREE! Great hospitality. Would love to stay again!

This is the perfect place to stay if you want easy access to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor without having to deal with the crowds and traffic downtown. The food near this condo was very close and a lot less expensive than downtown, too!This condo was beyond clean...the hostess also put fresh flowers out upstairs and down! It was absolutely private and lovely. I will always stay here if we come this way again!

Bar Harbor Lighthouse

Our host Dave was very responsive and it was a great place to stay! Location was great as it was away from Bar Harbor to miss out on all the traffic but not to far. The accommodation was exactly as stated and perfect for a couple. Very clean, quite and comfortable. I would recommend and stay again if I have the chance to visit Maine’s coast again.

Very nice place. A house in the woods that was the perfect location for exploring Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park & one of the oldest golf courses in America! Plenty of room for a couple, comfortable king size bed & just about everything we needed (except a dishwasher). Host thoughtfully provided fresh coffee, milk & fruit to get started. Recommend!!

Really nice property with great host. Residential location off main highway near the national park and bar harbor. We basically only slept there and the bed and linens were comfortable.

Peace and quiet

This property is in a beautiful setting. The facilities are excellent. We were provided with everything we needed and more. The location is close to just about everything you might want to see or do on the island. Our hosts were gracious and responded to any questions we had quickly.
