4 bedroom 2 bath lakefront home with a new 1250 sq ft boathouse with tiki bar, sectional couch and mini refrigerator provides the ultimate in relaxation and lake enjoyment. Some of the best wakeboarding, waterskiing and fishing on Lake Gaston is directly in front of the boat house.

This perfect lake cottage is located in the Riverbend subdivision, on Lyons Creek Cove. Enjoy long walks in the neighborhood and some of the best waterfront on Lake Gaston. Deep water off the dock is perfect for the big kids and water sports. Shallow water near shore is perfect for the smaller kids. Everyone will enjoy spending their day relaxing at one of the nicest boat houses on the lake.

The lake house is ideal for families and for sharing with friends. All 4 bedrooms are exactly the same size. Enjoy beautiful sunrises on the lake from your bed in either of the 2 lake front bedrooms which boast awesome views of the lake. 16x40 great room and 2 lakeside bedrooms open to screen porch.


Ultimate Lake House for enjoying the lake: Enjoy quiet, glassy water all day long. Paddle our canoe further into the cove for fishing, hunting and birdwatching. Enjoy long walks through the beautiful Riverbend subdivision. The Waterview restaurant and the Morning Star Marina are just a short boat ride away. Private, gentle wooded lot. No Steep Hill and No Steep Steps. Deep water off dock for big kids and shallow water near shore for little ones. One of the nicest boat houses on the lake with tiki bar and mini fridge on the dock.

Excellent Lake Location

Our family enjoyed our week-long stay at this house. The location of the house on the lake is what drew us there. The middle! Close to Water View, the ex-Morningstar Marina, and most importantly, a short distance to the main lake. Kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and swimming. Depth at the end of the dock is about 7-8 feet.

Great Memorial Day Weekend

Great place for our family weekend. Dock is awesome for fishing and hanging out. We brought our own boat so we also used the boat slip. Host responds quickly to any questions. This is our second stay at this house and we loved it.

Our family had a great time at this property! The views were breathtaking!!! Plenty of room for everyone and a HUGE table in the kitchen so we could all eat together. Definitely a plus!!!

Perfect Family Vacation Spot

The owners really put some thought into making this a perfect family get away! From the large dining table for family meals, to the perfect screened porch for unwinding after a day of playing on the lake! Our family really enjoyed our week! The hosts were super helpful and responsive.

House located in a quiet cove. Large boat house and enough room to have both of our fishing boats tied off. Seating arrangements under boat dock was nice. Did not have the couch anymore as pictured in listing but plenty of other type of seating. Kitchen seating is great especially if you have a large group of people.

Amazing water depth and boat dock

The house is small but the screened in back porch adds so much living space. The boat dock has a cover so not baking in hot sun w kids all day. area to sun bath to side of deck. Water is what’s it’s all about. U don’t come to the lake for a lavish house, u come for the water and this house doesn’t disappoint. The owners are very responsive and accommodating. They seem to truly care about their renters. Nice quiet street for walking w th kids at the end of the day

Great location on the lake and responsive host

The host answered all of our questions before we got there and during our stay. We loved the cove and dock and spent a lot of time on the large screened in porch. I recommend bring Tupperware as we didn’t have anything like it to store leftovers. The last night we enjoyed a nice fire in the fire pit.

Spacious & Comfortable, Beautiful Setting

The house was perfect for our family group. The huge kitchen table was amazing, we made good use of the grill, and the screened-in porch was a big hit with everyone. Loved the layout of the bedroom suites, made it easy to have privacy when you wanted it. Everything was clean, roomy, and comfortable!

Fishing paradise!

Had an amazing week at this wonderful Lyons Creek cottage in Riverbend! We caught 13 different types of fish off the dock and paddle boarding in the creek! An easy trip from the marina to the dock if you rent a boat during the week. We will definitely be back!

Great weekend getaway

The house was perfect for our family. The boat dock was awesome. We had a lift for our boat. Plenty of space to hang out in the sun or in the shade. There is also a mini fridge. The cove was great for swimming and paddle boarding. The screened in porch was great for dinner outside and games. The host was very responsive. Answered every question in a timely manner. Check in was easy. Within 20 minutes of a grocery store. The property is located in a nice cove. Our only concerns were the walk to the boathouse has a large amount of roots covering the paths. You really have to be alert walking to the dock. The exterior was freshly painted and looked beautiful however the steps were slippery when wet. Neither are a huge deal, just be cautious. We definitely will rent this house again. It was wonderful!

Once again, a wonderful stay

Once again, my friends, family and I had a wonderful stay at this home. The house is always clean and ready. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is well stocked. The dock and screened in porch just add to a lovely home. We always enjoy renting this home and will do so again!

Lake House

I have stayed at this property twice now. It does not disappoint. The house was clean, beds comfortable. Nice screened in porch. The dock is huge, lots of shade and sun. swimming and fishing was great. I highly recommend. And will be back again.

Wonderful

We stayed for another wonderful week at this house in LKG. As always, the house was clean and ready, the screened in porch is welcoming and has some really cool rockers as well as a full table to dine outside. The dock, as always, has plenty of room for all of us. We thoroughly enjoy renting this home and we will be back!
