About this space:

The Mulberry House is a cozy, private one-bedroom home with a large, fully fenced backyard, deck and grill. At approximately 500 square feet, this charming house is a great fit for couples, solo travelers, business travelers and guests traveling with pets.

You'll have the entire home and yard to yourself! This is not a guest house, apartment or shared space.

The home includes:

* Private bedroom with a queen-size memory foam mattress and Smart TV
* Living room with a 55" Smart TV, leather sofa and additional seating
* Fully equipped kitchen with dining area
* Full bathroom with tub/shower
* Washer and dryer
* Dining table with leaves that expands to create a great workspace
* Large, fully fenced backyard
* Private deck with outdoor seating and grill
* Long private driveway
* Pet-friendly accommodations ($50 pet fee)

The Mulberry House is conveniently located approximately 20 minutes from the Country Club Plaza, Westport and downtown Kansas City; 30 minutes from Lawrence; and 40 minutes from Kansas City International Airport.

We want guests to know exactly what to expect so they can decide whether The Mulberry House is the right fit for their stay. Please keep the following in mind before booking:

* Ceiling height is approximately 6'7".
* Active railroad tracks are located approximately one block away. Several trains may pass during the day and night. While the area is a designated quiet zone, train horns may occasionally be sounded for safety reasons.

The Mulberry House has a 2-night minimum stay. One-night stays require prior approval. Due to an ongoing Vrbo system issue, the platform may occasionally show a 1-night stay as available despite our minimum-stay settings.

The home was perfect for our needs. We had an animal with us and the fenced yard was grea.Home was clean and much thought put into the needs of guests. This is a great little house with a nice fenced in yard for the dogs. The hosts were very kind and were great to communicate with. They were quick and efficient. I highly recommend this house for a stay. The hosts have stocked it nicely and it is perfect for a couple. I would stay here again.

We absolutely LOVE this little house! It’s perfect for my husband, me and our service dog. It’s so clean and comfortable and a quiet little neighborhood. We love the trains that go by, too. Any time we stay in Olathe, the Mulberry House will be our number one choice.

Great location - very well arranged - good for a single person or a couple. Bed is very comfortable, unit is well stocked and location is handy to everything in Olathe. Definitely would stay again.

Perfect for our stay

We enjoyed out stay at the Mulberry Cottage. It is 5 miles from my husbands brothers house and very convenient for us. Well equipped had everything we needed even treats for our fur babies.

The place was fine, but the cost for what you get doesn’t make sense. It’s smaller in person than the pictures make it seem, and it isn’t very homey feeling. The biggest problem besides the cost is that it’s maybe 100 feet away from the train tracks, which are very busy. I ended up not staying there for most of the trip because it just wasn’t comfortable. I do want to emphasize, the hosts were kind and responsive, the place was very clean, and check in was smooth. But between the train and the very high cost for what you get, I can’t recommend.

When you pull up to the house, you say, “oh my, that is a small house!” But, after you get inside you realize how nice it is and perfect for 2 people. We contacted the hosts on two occasions and they responded immediately. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay!

We were in town for my son’s soccer tournament and chose to stay here. It was so wonderful! I couldn’t believe all that the owners provided and had on hand. The coffee was great, they left snacks even! They were very accommodating on my times due to the game schedule. The place was adorable. Thank you again! 10 out of 10!

Mulberry is near old town Olathe, which we enjoy. We're only a 5 minute drive away and enjoy quick access to highways when we want to get downtown. The home is also close to several choics for restaurants, entertainment, and nice walking trails.
