What a uniquely situated home. Eclectically appointed furnishings from steam punk to antiques. Terrific space for a long or short term visit. It is really encouraging to see a Victorian structure so well maintained. This is a perfect location as a base camp to explore the marvelous wonders of the Redwoods.

Very comfortable accommodation and beautiful decor
This is the perfect place to stay to explore the historical downtown streets of Ferndale. Located in the center of town and walkable to all of the favorite shops, we spent sometime visiting each one. You can tell the host has taken great care with the decor and unique pieces throughout the apartment. It felt like a much welcomed step back in time. This is a good home base for other must sees around the area. We definitely enjoyed our stay!
We really enjoyed the character of this location. Everything has been well maintained and in working order. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!
Michelle is a great host- the apartment has everything you need and more. Whimsical decor, comfy bed, and just steps from my family’s house.
This is my second time staying here & I will certainly return.
We came to see the redwoods and wanted to find a comfortable home base. Not only are the redwoods awe inspiring, the apartment is beyond comfortable and astetically beautiful.
House was quiet, clean, and quaint! Was perfect location for us to relax at end of long days. Coffee was so good. Need to know what kind it was. Anything we could need was in the place, even a bandaid. Thank you.
This flat took our breath away. We went to see the Concours (on the street right below our window) and were amazed at the number of people taking pictures of our building. It is that unique. The interior was decorated with many artifacts from early times in the U.S. The stain glass on the windows are beautiful. The bathroom is a little quirky in that the toilet and shower stall is on a 6”platform. The use of either would be challenging for someone that has balance issues. The bed is the most comfortable that I have ever slept on but it is so high, I had to use a stool to get in and out of the bed (my fault because I’m vertically challenged 5’3”). Bathrobes were there for my wife and I so we felt like royalty. The hardwood floors and rugs were spotless. My wife kept commenting on the curved architecture and precise woodwork. Because it is located right on Main Street, we were able to frequent the stores and restaurants and go back to our flat to recharge our batteries. This was my first Vrbo and I was speechless at the beauty and condition of this historical landmark.
