Mtn Top Cabin/Incredible Views/Cathedral Ceilings/WIFI/Hot Tub
"SOARING SIGHTS" Cabin - Long-Range, Multi-Layered Mtn. Views / Soaring A-Frame Cathedral Ceilings / Floor-to-Ceiling Windows / Stone Fireplace / Sparkling Hot Tub / Jacuzzi / Outside Fire-Pit / WIFI / Private & Gated Upscale Cabin Community / Paved Roads / 10 Min. to Bryson City / 15 Min. to Nat. Park / Sleeps 6
THE CABIN Soaring A-frame tongue-and-groove cathedral ceilings welcome you as you enter the main living space off the covered deck. Large floor-to-ceiling wall of windows overlooking the views allows the natural light to pour in and the magnificent views looking out. Long-range, multi-layered mountain views are certainly the show-piece here! The Smoky Mountains are ever changing, the sunlight casting a wide spectrum of colors and shadows across the mountains and clouds, giving a different look to the view all throughout the day.
The fully-equipped kitchen, dining room and main living spaces all flow together for a roomy, light and open floor plan. Big 60” LED TV for viewing your favorite shows/movies on the reclining leather sofas. The stone, gas-log fireplace is perfect for gathering around during those cooler months. Sit around the dining room table as a family and admire the mountain views out the windows as you enjoy your meals. Or, dine outside on the deck!
Back out onto the expanded deck, you’ll find ample outdoor living space to soak in those “wow” views! Speaking of soak, an o-so-relaxing four-seater Hot Tub (w/ waterfall feature) awaits to melt away all your cares in the world after a long-day of outdoor adventures. An outdoor firepit is also the perfect place to roast those smores and enjoy the outdoors! A gas grill is also provided for those master chefs!
Back inside, on the main level past the kitchen you’ll find your full sized washer and dryer, full size bathroom (with Jacuzzi tub), along with the main level King-bed Primary Bedroom (equipped with it’s own TV/DVD player). Upstairs, you’ll find a roomy loft bedroom with two twin beds and a queen bed with its own en-suite bathroom. Perfect space for the kids or extra guests, allowing this cabin to sleep up to 6 guests comfortably.
THE SURROUNDINGS The cabin sits at an elevation of nearly 3,000 feet, allowing for those cool mountain breezes even in warmer weather months. The road to the cabin is completely paved and pretty well maintained. Moderate inclines, a couple quick curves, but nothing overly steep. 2WD vehicles just fine. For those not accustom to "mountain driving", probably best to try and arrive during daylight hours on your check-in day. In the winter months when there is heavy ice or snow, that would make the drive tricky so would suggest waiting until the ice/snow melts off (which here usually doesn’t take long)
The parking area outside the cabin is completely level and can easily accommodate up to 3 vehicles, if needed.
NEIGHBORING CABINS Cabin is located in a small Gated & Private Upscale Cabin Community in Bryson City. There is an adjoining cabin next door to this cabin. Two separate cabins, just happened to be built side-by-side to one another. Complete privacy and seclusion otherwise, as you can't see the neighbors (only the views!)
THE LOCATION Cabin is a short 10 minute drive from downtown Bryson City, 15 minutes from the Deep Creek entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and 20 minutes or so from Cherokee and the Park main entrance. Nantahala National Forest and Lake Fontana are both roughly a 20 minute drive. Asheville NC (Biltmore Estate) and Gatlinburg TN are just over an hour’s drive away.
Local shops, restaurants, breweries/wineries, boating/fishing the area rivers or on Lake Fontana, hikes/waterfalls, river rafting/tubing, golfing, horseback riding, ATV trails, zip lining – all within half an hour. An outdoor lover’s paradise! The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad runs out of Bryson City and is a wonderful, scenic keepsake experience.
Close to so many other attractions and day trips, happy to provide more upon request.

The cabin was perfect for our needs. A nice loft area for multiple kids with their own space. The view was amazing. We loved there was plenty of seating as well. Messages were responded to very quickly, and they were extremely pleasant! Great location! Overall wonderful, especially for the price!
The house and the hot tub were clean. The views were magnificent. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. There were plenty of towels for the bathrooms. The robes were a nice touch. The directions were clear and the road was paved. It is narrow and winding. Thank you.
Three of us traveled to Bryson city for our annual train ride and we chose this place because of the hot tub and the view from it and it did not let us down.

Thank you for staying, we're so glad y'all had an awesome stay!!
Property is exactly as described and pictured. Location is great as it’s quick to get to Bryson City and NOC. The views are spectacular, the hot tub is fantastic, and the house is comfy. The owners responded immediately to our messages. Overall a very pleasant experience.
The house was roomy and well maintained. The view was fantastic as well. The wrap around porch with hot tub was killer.
As to location, it was perfectly centered between all the attractions we wanted to see and experience.
I recommend this to anyone who wants to visit the Bryson City area and visit the Nantahala and Fontana waters!

We enjoyed hosting you all. Glad you got to enjoy the area and had a pleasant stay with us!
We had a wonderful stay on the property. The owners and property manager were very attentive. The house was beautiful and clean. My kids enjoyed the loft and I enjoyed the jacuzzi. The drive up the hill is a bit scary (but normal for that area). I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing views that change by the hour. We sat on the deck for hours to rejuvenate. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, above and beyond our expectations. Thank you.

Thank you Barbara, we thoroughly enjoyed having ya'll!
We came to Bryson City for our Nephew’s wedding. While most of the family stayed at the Nantahala Village where the wedding venue was, we had to bring our fur babies with us so we looked on VRBO for pet friendly accommodations and found Soaring Sights!! We lucked out because this place was amazing. It was clean and comfortable and the view from the deck was just as beautiful as those we saw on the overlooks of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We enjoyed the hot tub every night and the bed was super comfy!! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Thank you Patti, so glad yall had a great stay with us and enjoyed your time with family!
Soaring Sights was beyond our expectations. Exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated with a rustic cabin motif, it had every comfort of home along with spectacular views of the mountains. It was relaxing to sit out on the balcony at night and watch the shooting stars. Thank you for sharing your home and allowing us to bring our furry children.

So glad to hear that ya'll had a wonderful stay with us! Enjoyed hosting you
We had a peaceful and enjoyable week at Soaring Sights. The cabin was so comfortable and clean. Our family loved the reclining couch! We each had our own. The view of the mountains was amazing. We took the opportunity to wake up early to watch the morning fog over the mountains from the deck or hot tub and loved star gazing from the fire pit. It was hard to leave.

Thrilled that ya'll had a great stay with us. We enjoyed hosting you. Welcome back anytime!
We went up MLK weekend. It was the perfect get away. It was close to downtown Bryson city and not far from Cherokee and the Smokey Mountains. The drive up was pretty steep but we made it in our Toyota Highlander. The house is a duplex but we never heard the people Nextdoor. It snowed while we were there. My kids loved the hot-tub watching the snow. On check out the road was covered in snow and ice. Getting down the mountain was a little scary with the snow and ice but the roads were salted. Would stay here again!
The drive to the house is quite steep but it's paved so that helped.. if ice or snow were involved then the story might be different. The views are amazing. Tons of morning sun. Very quiet. The home is comfortable and was very clean. It's not listed as a duplex but it is. The beds were more comfortable than ours beds at home.

Glad ya'll enjoyed the views and the peace and quiet of the cabin's location - and the comfy beds : )
We came for a short trip before my baby arrives in October. My in laws and my Husband and I. This property was perfect for our little get a way. The views are so beautiful and the home is SO clean! We had some issues with the smoke alarms and hot tub & the maintenance man came the same day to fix. Nothing major. I felt so comfortable, even at 8 months Pregnant! Would recommend this location to everyone!

Thank you so much for staying with us, and super glad ya'll had a fantastic time! Congrats again on the little one : )
This property was extremely clean and organized. It really had everything you would need (kitchen wise) without being cluttered. Towels and wash clothes were provided as well as little toiletries in case you forgot yours. The kids and I found the soft beds to be extremely comfortable, my husband did not, but to each theiru own.
The view was breathtaking and well worth the steep narrow drive up. The TV in the bedroom wouldn’t work but that very well could have been user error. There is another house attached to this house, with the exception of being on the porch at the same time you really don’t notice. (There is a divider between the 2 households). Had a couple of questions for the owner and they were extremely easy to get in touch with!
This cabin is perfectly described.
When you walk in the kitchen is immediately on your left and it is well stocked. In that same area the downstairs bedroom with a very comfortable King size bed. So comfortable that we have ordered the same mattress. In the bathroom right across the hall there is a deep jetted bathtub. Only downside is is it takes a little bit to fill up but it was perfect.
The living room is nice and comfy with huge windows. The 2nd night we had a thunderstorm and lightning was lighting up the whole cabin. Amazingly enough never lost power or satellite
We only went upstairs one time to look and if you have kids this is the place to be as the owners have thought of everything. There were so many games
The outback deck was cool as it’s long and wraps around to front. They had a baby gate there which worked for us as we were able to block our dog off.
I wrote such a long review as there wasn’t any reviews when I booked this cabin and I was nervous about it. I’m glad I didn’t back out as we really enjoyed our stay. Can’t wait to come back in the fall time to see the leaves changing as the view over the mountains are beautiful

I felt kind of catfished
I have been staying in this area frequently since 2019 and I was pretty disappointed by this rental. The property definitely wasn't as clean and nice on the outside as pictured. The deck had black mold spores all over it and was unusable! The jacuzzi was dirty (which the maintenance guy had told us would be from sediment from the well water but would filter out), but there was hair, bugs and cob webs in it as well. Upon arrival, high touch surfaces like coffee table (had a huge fake nail sitting on top of it), dining table and night stands were dirty, and I had to wipe them down. The silverware and plates still had food on them, and I had to clean all the dishes. The water went out on our 4th night and we couldnt shower, ect after being outdoors all day. It was fixed overnight, but the next morning, the toilet was filled with a layer from the sediment, which made me question the water safety. There was a non-disclosed camera in the tree overlooking the fire pit and could probably see the deck as well.
I will say that the view and fire pit was very nice! The linens and bathrooms were clean. And the host was very nice and responsive. But, considering the price compared to what I've paid for in the area for other rentals in the past few years, which had just as nice or better views, and were much cleaner, I wouldn't stay here again.

Thank you for the feedback Krista. We always welcome feedback...good or bad. It appears we uncharacteristically fell short of our high expectations during your stay. Immensely sorry for that. All of our previous guests (145 total guest stays between vrbo and airbnb) have had nothing but glowing praise for their stays... all 145 have given us 5 stars in fact, never received a review below 5 stars until now. The uncharataristic and unfortunate issues ya'll raised in your review were again not up to our high standards, and for that we apologize. No excuses. My only wish would have been that ya'll brought those issues to our attention as soon as you arrived, seeing they mostly had to do with cleaning related issues. We could have easily and quickly sent our maintenance tech and housekeeper back up right away to correct each of those items raised. It would have been our pleasure. Much like we did when you mentioned the water issue; we had it back on in a few hours from first notification. As a side, the water is from a community well, water quality tested frequently by the hoa. The sediment is simply that, as many wells have from time to time. The camera you mentioned is fully disclosed in the listing, it is positioned along the driveway to ensure only registered guest vehicles are on the premise (for our knowledge and for guest safety). As all our previous guest reviews reflect, your experience was not up to our highest standards and we'll ensure moving forward each of those items you raised are addressed/fixed so that our long standing history of earning only 5 star reviews from guests is maintained. Appologies again that (in this case) we fell short of that...
This house had it all… amazing views, responsive and considerate hosts, and everything we could have wanted while we were there, from the most well-stocked kitchen of any rental we’ve stayed in (which is such a great perk for us because we cook a lot) to a cabinet of kids toys and games that kept our toddler entertained. Everything we wanted to do was a quick drive away. Highly recommend and I hope we can return sometime!
