Mulberry House, privacy and comfort in sought after Pisgah Forest

Mulberry House is nestled in the lush mountains of NC and the heart of waterfall country. The home offers privacy and comfort on an oversized wooded lot and a year round creek at the back of the property. Ideally located minutes away from Pisgah National Forest, DuPont, hiking, biking, fishing, restaurants and breweries. The upper level is occupied by Sharon, her husband and their dog, Libby. You will occasionally hear and see them. Sharon is very responsive to questions and guest requests.

The space
Renovated lower level with private entrance, now includes a bunk room( not an office) that adjoins one of the queen bedrooms. The bunk room is an option that must be booked in advance otherwise it is not available. Message me for more details.
Mulberry House features a separate driveway accented by the mulberry tree at the street. Great room with electric fireplace, SmartTV to stream from your video accounts and SamsungTV Plus with over 150 channels, free WiFi, and Verizon booster in an open-concept living area. Fully equipped kitchen with full size range and refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and washer/dryer combo. The dining area has seating for 6 plus room to catch up on emails or work. The space features a split bedroom plan separated by the living/dining area with ceiling fans in each room, all the comforts of home! The outdoor patio offers peace and quiet to sip your morning coffee and listen to the birds or view the white squirrels that frequent the neighborhood. There is a fire pit to spend the evenings by the fire and a BBQ grill to cook out.

The room is set up for for younger guests with books and toys but can easily accommodate adults. Each bunk bed has a standard twin size memory foam mattress, there is a weight limit of 200 lbs per bed for safety reasons.
If you are traveling with children, we have a high chair, portacrib, changing table and toys. Let me know what you might need, we can have them ready for your little ones upon checkin.
We can accommodate up to 6 guests with 3 bedrooms. If you do not need a third bedroom, the rate is as indicated. There is an additional $20 per night for an extra room, message me for more details…

As you pack up and remove your belongings, please check to see if you have left anything in the drawers or under the bed. We appreciate a general tidying up. You may leave the towels in the bathroom and the sheets on the bed.
