Alojamiento rústico y sofisticado

Esta cabaña rústica y sofisticado se encuentra ubicado en una ladera cerca del río French Broad. Se encuentra en nueve hectáreas privadas aisladas de la casa principal de la perdiz Hill donde viven los propietarios. Perdiz Colina fue una vez propiedad del autor Hamilton Basso quien era un amigo cercano de Thomas Wolfe. Wolfe y Basso pasaron muchas horas en la perdiz Hill y le encantaría el acogedor ambiente de la cabina conocido como El Nido de perdiz. La cabina cuenta con dos camas tamaño dormitorios y dos baños completos con un área de descanso adicional en el acogedor escritores desván. Las instalaciones incluyen una hermosa y bien surtida cocina, comedor, chimenea de leña, y un porche completo con vistas a la montaña. El diseño interior es cómodo, acogedor, y la montaña inspiró.

Un lugar ideal para una escapada, la cabina aún está aislada sólo cuatro millas de Brevard donde hay buenos restaurantes, el Centro de Música de Brevard, Brevard College, y muchas tiendas. El Pisga Nacional

Exceptional property

We spent a weekend at this cabin when we took our youngest to his camp drop-off and picked our oldest up from his - this location was ideal: very close to Brevard which is a really neat town, but also “away” enough that it is private and has a mountain retreat feel. The cabin itself is an absolute gem - it’s beautifully and comfortably decorated - very cozy in its “feel” while also providing “elbow room” for a family The back porch was an ideal spot to enjoy my coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. We met one of our hosts when he came to say hello and make sure we were comfortable; we loved chatting with him and appreciate his taking the time to be a true “host” and offer lovely Southern gracious hospitality to us. We truly enjoyed ever moment of being there and we will return! If you’re thinking about this one, book it!!!!! You will not be disappointed!

Warm and cozy cabin

A Little Slice of Heaven

This cabin was a wonderful find! It has everything you need and then some! We really enjoyed the mountain views from the porch swing, watching the light change the shapes of the mountains as the sun set. It's close to Brevard and great hiking. We are already planning a return trip!

Mom and Daughters Weekend Away

We were all meeting up to celebrate our Mother’s birthday and have a quick relaxing get away. The cabin was exactly what we needed and were hoping for! As soon as we walked in we loved all the details and charm of a cabin that somehow made you feel like you were home. Close to Brevard and all of the great trails to hike. We are already looking forward to a return visit. The owners were so nice and welcoming. The perfect place for a mountain trip!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We learned about this particular cabin from a write-up in a local magazine and decided that it would be a great spot to get away after a busy holiday season. Partridge Nest and its host, Charlie, made for a great experience! Charlie provided great directions and tips on how best to find the cabin and navigate the turn up to the house. The cabin itself was fully furnished with everything necessary for a winter stay, including all the wood stacked and ready for a fire after hiking all day. The cabin is conveniently located for easy access to Brevard, Asheville and all the restaurants and breweries in the area. We will be back again for another stay!

We will definitely stay here again. We have been coming to Brevard for a couple of years but branched out to stay in a house this time. The hosts were absolutely fantastic. The house was a home that was well stocked and comfortable. It provided anything we could ask for.

Far away but close to town.

The house was tucked away so much so that you felt that you were in the middle of nowhere, but really only a few minutes away from town. Enjoyed the house because of the rustic feel to it and overall layout. Will definitely book again.

Amazing NC Mountain Cabin

We rented the Partridge Nest and took our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children under the age of 7) for a Thanksgiving getaway to the Brevard area for a couple of days. Communication with the Brendles was great and they had the cabin prepped and ready for us upon arrival. Charlie stopped by to show us a few things about the cabin and even made a special trip to bring us some firewood for our stay. We visited downtown Brevard, Asheville, and Pisgah National Forest in our 2-1/2 days there, all of which were very accessible from the property. It was such a lovely place to come home to after very busy days with kids and have a fire and enjoy the views and the quiet. We will definitely be back likely in the summer to enjoy all of the warm weather activity and scenery that Pisgah has to offer. Thank you Charlie and Jean...it was wonderful!

The Partridge Nest

We had a very enjoyable stay. The cabin was very cozy and well maintained and decorated with many antiques throughout. We will definitely stay there again. The owners were very nice and accommodating and gave very good details of a variety of things like locking the door a certain way. Thank you for opening your sweet cabin to us.

Wonderful stay!

Beautiful little cabin nestled on a hillside overlooking the French Broad and mountains, just 10min out of Brevard. The inside has been so thoughtfully decorated with love, it feels much more like a nice inn/B&B than a “cabin”. We spent much time on the screen porch, watching the morning mist lift to unveil the hills and mountains, and later seeing the sun drop behind the highest peak. Charlie was very accessible, helpful and friendly. We hope to be back.

Arrive in daylight

The driveway is steep, and has a sharp turn, arrive before dark if at all possible. Kitchen, living room and Porch are all great.

Delightful Mountain Hideaway

Loved our girl’s weekend at this delightful mountain home. The owners have taken great care in giving this mountain retreat a vintage cabin vibe with all of the comforts of home. Screened porch is pretty with a view of the mountains. The owners were welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. The owner was so accommodating after a one day delay in our arrival date. He was quick to respond and kept me well informed. The cabin was beyond our expectations. It was cozy, spotless and beautifully decorated. Every touch was done with love…from unique and whimsical pieces to a wonderful collection of books to browse through, my particular favorite was the cat book! The location was excellent for trips to Brevard, Hendersonville, Asheville and local waterfall hikes. Everything was perfect! I will going back for sure!!

Beautiful inside and out

You can tell as you passed the threshold of the door that someone poured their heart and soul into this house. It is a home, not a house. It is cozy, full of light. The attention to details is amazing. Charles and Jean were wonderful hosts and we loved talking to Charles when he stopped by to say hello one afternoon. We will definitely try to come back. Kids and parents had a relaxing hiking weekend. Thank you so much for letting us borrow this place. Our stay was just too short.

Thanksgiving

We decided to keep Thanksgiving simple this year, pack a cooler with all the fixins’ and head to the mountains for 5 days. We chose this cabin and are glad we did. It’s a peaceful and quiet location that’s not too far from town as well as the trails we love. Our kids loved it as well and were pretty bummed when it was time to go. We will definitely be back!
