Excellent property!

Our family of 6 loved staying here while we were visiting family in Buffalo! I've never stayed at a rental where so much thought has been put into every detail. They literally thought of everything! The neighborhood was quiet, centrally located, and the A/C worked SO well, which was much needed during our stay. Excellent vacation rental!

House was perfect for our trip. Enough room for 5 of us. We had everything we needed. The weather didn't cooperate for skiing, but we were able to check out the canal side and the falls. Host was very accommodating. Would stay here again.

Cleanest VRBO we've ever stayed in! On top of being a cute, comfy home, we loved that the owners thought of everything (tea, spices, toiletries, umbrellas, snow brush, board/card games, baby gear, etc. all readily available if needed). Great place for a family

We really enjoyed our stay in the Opal House. Communication and check in were seemless. The kids definitely enjoyed the game room and its location upstairs gave the adults a quiet space to visit and relax downstairs. There was enough space for six people to stay very comfortably and we could have had another if needed. Really appreciated the nice touches such as the stocked kitchen and the binder of local restaurant recommendations. We will definitely stay here again if we return to the Buffalo area.

Weekend with friends

We had a great weekend in this house!!! The house was immaculate, felt right at home the whole time. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. There were 4 bedrooms and a living room so we had a chance for alone time and time with the group. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. If we are back in Buffalo, we will stay here!

Awesome weekend in Buffalo for football!

We came with our family to watch the Bills /Vikings game! We were pleasantly surprised with this quaint cozy home!! It is in a great location, close to the airport the falls, the stadium., and casinos! The hosts were very attentive checking in each day. The house was very clean and cozy. The house seemed to have been recently updated to a fun, inviting style. Just pay attention to the street parking signs. You can only park on certain sides of the street on certain days.

Why they chose this property

This property chose us actually. We were saddened to see the state it was in and wanted bring it back to life. It was a year long project that involved a lot of long nights, strong coffee and pizza but the results made it so worth the struggles. We absolutely love our neighbors and the community where we live. Can't wait for you to experience Opal House for yourself!

Located in a quiet family neighborhood with only a few minutes to the thruway. Only 5 minutes to go have fun in the city and you get to come home to a quiet place to rest. Its the perfect location for exploring all of Buffalo and surrounding areas.
