A perfect country escape from city life. Sounds from the waterfall will lull you to sleep in this newly renovated contemporary cottage in the lovely Blue Mountain area. An open meadow with a large maple tree is right outside your window. Relax by the swimming hole just below the falls. The home is just a ten minute drive to the Village of Saugerties or the famous Woodstock for shopping, restaurants and galleries. Hunter Mountain is just 10 miles away for winter sports enthusiasts and the HITS Horse Show grounds are only 6 miles from the house.

Beautiful location, great host

Great property in a lovely location… both quiet enough to feel like a real getaway but not that far from town. Jolene is a great host, and the house was well appointed and lacked for nothing. We hope to come back!

Nice, quiet location off the beaten path but convenient to Albany, Kingston, and Woodstock. Welcome gift of muffins and snacks were a nice touch.

Relaxing Mountain Getaway

Our stay at this home was so wonderful. Jolene, the owner, left us snacks when we arrived. The home was relaxing, absolutely clean and welcoming. The views were breathtaking at the fire pit area. You could view the mountains and the stream below. We even brought our dog which was a plus. Overall, a perfect weekend.

The home is perfect for a small family dinner and memory making gathering. The property has a beautiful waterfall on the property and is well furnished outside and in. Looking forward to making many more memories at Jolene’s Bungalow. She is a very attentive host and is there to help if needed.

A weekend escape

This was the perfect place for us to come together for a little family weekend and spend some time exploring Saugerties as well as the surrounding area. It was clean, cozy, and pet friendly. :) Jolene was an amazing host and even left all sorts of goodies out for us! Saturday night in downtown Saugerties was busy, so be sure to make a dinner reservation. We will certainly be back next time we are in town!

Amazing anniversary getaway

This was an amazing place to stay for my wife and I celebrating our 15 year anniversary. Was super close to saugertis, Woodstock, and new paltz. Only 20 mins away for north south lake campground where we went on long hike to north point to over look the whole valley. We love coming up to this area and this cottage was absolutely perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our anniversary. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Jolene was so nice and was available for anything we needed. Thank you so much!!

The little things

An amazing experience. The place was great views of the waterfall were nice but that water brrrr. The house was well stocked with various items and our host went above and beyond to make our stay even more special. Had some food items for us ready and even took the extra special time to bake for us! A guide with recommendations was also left with places to go and things to do including food and hikes. This host really went above and beyond you will not regret!!

Didn’t want to leave

The best I’ve stayed at at this price point. Immaculate, well appointed. Great use of space, design. Beds comfy, lines very nice. A/C, ceiling fan. Absolutely gorgeous surroundings. Most places in rural areas have bugs and dirt in crevasses, not here. If you want peace-this is it. Close to hiking, Peekamoose, eclectic Woodstock. The waterfall is directly on the property with a fire pit and Adirondack chairs. This place is simply - enough.100% would stay again.

Lovely and relaxing

We are not surprised there is a wait-list for this place. A much-needed break from the city. You will want for nothing. It's meticulous, well-appointed and near a swimming hole! There is ample outdoor space where our dog frolicked. She even asked us if we wanted any specific items in our pantry before our arrival. The fridge is well stocked with half and half, fruits, eggs, butter, bottled water, etc. In addition, she left us homemade muffins! Jolene is truly a premier hostess and we hope we can rent this bungalow again soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Spectacular Home!

We would HIGHLY recommend a stay here. The house was beautifully renovated and had all the luxuries of home. We were greeted with wine, snacks, muffins and a fridge stocked with new condiments and eggs! What a special treat! There were plenty of towels and the beds were very comfortable. The host, Jolene, was lovely to speak to and very responsive. We loved the fire pit area and waterfall in the back yard. Just a peaceful, tranquil setting. We played a new board game and enjoyed some Disneyplus! We were there to ski at Hunter and the drive was only 25 minutes away, super easy. Great restaurants were nearby. We have made this a favorite for our next trip up this summer!

Didn't want to leave!

I was very lucky the Blue Mountain Bungalow just became available as I was looking to take a break from the city. It's newly renovated, quiet and charming. It's spacious yet cozy, and has everything you need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. A well-stocked full kitchen, spacious living and dining rooms with beautiful a sky light and much more.... Just outside, you can take a leisurely stroll on the open meadow and enjoy the sound of the bubbling stream. Jolene and Gary are outstanding hosts. They are accessible, easy to communicate with and take that extra step, add that extra touch, to make sure you have everything you need and more. Will return! Thank you!
