Welcome to Hawk's Eye, an AvantStay home!

This cozy condo provides a comfortable home base close to the slopes for year-round Tahoe adventures. Inside, you’ll find plush furnishings, wood accents, and beautiful forest views. Curl up by the fire in the living room in the winter and in the warmer months, head outside for al fresco dining. Enjoy shared amenities, including a pool, hot tub, and sauna. With access to the Northstar Shuttle, you're just a quick ride away from all of The Village and NPOA Rec Center amenities.

Situated in the snowy Sierra Nevada Mountain range straddling the border between California and Nevada, Lake Tahoe offers stunning panoramic scenery and year-round adventure. Visitors flock here especially to ski and snowboard on dramatic slopes that seem to fall into the abyss of the lake’s cobalt blue water. Whether you’re looking for a day in the mountains or a booze cruise on the lake, you can have it all in Tahoe.

Nearby Attractions: Northstar Ski Resort, Rubicon Pizza, Tompkins Memorial Trail (hiking), Balance Holistic Health Spa, Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort Golf Course, Truckee Bike Park, Truckee River Winery, Boreal Mountain Resort, Donner Lake (Watersports and Marina), Martis Peak Fire Lookout, Tahoe Donner Equestrian Center, Donner Memorial State Park and Emigrant Trail Museum.

Each home is provided with 1 guest pass which allows exclusive access to the Northstar Resort Community (a nominal charge may apply for some activities). This entails very easy access to the slopes (free shuttle available throughout the neighborhood), as well as, other amenities provided through Northstar Property Owners Association (pool, spa, tennis, fitness center).

AvantStay provides a personalized hospitality experience to elevate your stay. With our Concierge Service, guests have access to our tech-enabled services like fridge stocking, private chefs, massages, transportation, special occasion celebrations, baby gear rentals, ski gear, beach gear, and more. For anything you need, we’re at your fingertips!

Home Truths:
- We allow service animals at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Due to extreme wildfire risk, any type of outdoor wood-burning fireplaces, fire pits, or charcoal grills are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in fines starting at $5,000 per Lake Tahoe short-term rental regulations.
- Please note that all outdoor furniture and amenities, including grills, are seasonal and available from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
- This home does not have AC.
- This home has a max overnight occupancy of 6 guests and a max daytime occupancy of 9 guests.
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- This home has access to a communal pool at the recreation center, but please note that there is an entrance fee.
- Unauthorized parking at the Rec Center is strictly prohibited. Guests are only allowed to park while using the facilities. Any vehicle found parked all day will be subject to a fine of over $500.
- Please note: Access to the NPOA Recreation Center requires a separate fee of $10 per person, per day, and is not included with your reservation.

Parking Details:
- 2 parking passes are available for guests' use. Guests will be charged $50 for unreturned passes.
- No street parking allowed.
- Violations result in fines of $1,000 and up, and revocation of the permit after three or more violations.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.

“HOT”

Very nice place. Because I didn’t pay attention to or it wasn’t mentioned on the website that there was no air conditioning, we were “HOT.” We left windows open at night with two fans, one in living room and one in the bedroom on. It got to 85 degrees, by 12 noon. We went to the North Star resort, spent the day in the pool with family. I understand that the electric grid couldn’t handle all the demands for power but at least let a customer know prior to booking… NO Air Conditioning available.

Base Camp

Myself, my husband, and my 2 children rented this condo for summer vacation.. It was the perfect fit for our family of 4. Check-in went smoothly! We had a few little hiccups along the way, but the management company was very quick to respond and resolve any issues. The kitchen, laundry room, bedrooms, and bathrooms were all well appointed and stalked. It was a little warm on our stay so we needed to use the fans. It does cool off nicely at night so you can crack the windows and get a nice cool breeze going. There is no A/C.. The property does however have an amazing pool and spa area to keep you nice and cool! Excellent for families. The property is just a 5 min drive to Kings beach and North Lake Tahoe. There are plenty of beaches, restaurants, kayak and paddle board rentals.. They also have jet ski rentals and parasailing. The condo is a cute little home base for all your Tahoe adventures. It could use a little TLC, but overall is a great value.

Management company was responsive and helpful. The top floor stairs to entry needs a handrail; very dangerous. the outdoor walkway needs a hand rail! The living room needs another chair. We had 3 adults, one adult needed to lay on sofa, one got the chair, so one adult had to stand. reconfigure the sitting to watch TV from the sofa and not turn head sideways. Need coat hangers! It feels bare/striped down, like a Motel Six. The dining bar stools are uncomfortable. It should be disclosed that one of the bathrooms is upstairs. Floor plan didn't work for 3 adults.

Great place, super noisy heating

Nicely kept and managed cabin. Fairly standard for Northstar. We would stay there again for sure ...BUT... bring earplugs! The heater is like a runaway freight train complete with bangs and whistling. It bangs like a sheet metal drum every time it starts up and every time it stops. You get the whistling while it's on. I have silicone earplugs with a perfect molded seal that I use for travel and this thing woke me up every time it kicked on regardless.
