Cabin with bar area and pool table-located in Stephenson, MI

When you arrive you will find a small updated cabin with everything you will need to have a nice relaxing getaway! Outback there is a fire pit area surrounded by the perfect string lighting with comfy chairs and a swing-firewood is provided! Wild raspberries and blackberries grow along the woods right out the back door! Inside you can cozy up to the fireplace and wood burning stove during the cold months. Have some fun in the garage/bar area playing pool, darts, and other bar games. Also find entertainment in the two TVs equipped with Firestick streaming/roku, choose from the large variety of DVDs, or listen to some music! The kitchen has everything you will need to cook meals and there is also a charcoal grill outside (charcoal not provided). The cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood that is within walking distance to a lake. This area is great for ATV riding, kayaking, and fishing. Beautiful place during all four seasons!

Relaxing getaway

Our family really enjoyed the gaming and bonfire area.The house had everything you needed and even a few items you might have forgot. We really enjoyed our stay.

Weekend get away

This is our second time staying at this property. Very clean and cozy. All the amenities you need for cooking, grilling and smores by the firepit! Would highly recommend for a UP get away!

Great getaway

The cabin was the perfect weekend retreat spot. The garage bar and outside patio area provided a place to hang out and enjoy time away. The inside was perfectly furnished for what we needed.

Quiet and accommodating

I was looking for a long weekend in a quiet place and this was it. The owners were very accommodating and the kitchen had all the items one would need to make whatever you bring from the store. The outdoor area is also very nice, and the game room / garage is also a neat conversion.

Dog Vacation

We struggle to find dog friendly getaways with our 85 pound, hyperactive dog. This was a perfect place for him to burn some energy, so much room to run and peaceful isolation for him and us to be ourselves. Highly recommend if you need a relaxing weekend away from the grind!

Private and fun

We absolutely loved this cabin and had a great time! indoors and outdoors. everything was clean and available. backyard was so private and gorgeous!! :) We will be back! thank you for your beautiful cabin. :)

Mommy and me getaway

This home was so beautiful along with the property. My children absolutely loved the rec room and the baby loved the out doors and all the lights. Communication was amazing and tentative. We would definitely stay again. I absolutely appreciateed the home away from this space provided. It was clean and all things that where needed where on site and close to many different amazing shops and outdoor things. home

Great space

Wonderful space! Great rec room and outdoor area. We stayed for work, and everything was as expected. Internet was a bit slow bc of the area so video calling struggled but otherwise it was great!

U.P. Getaway

It was an all around wonderful birthday weekend for my husband and I. We were able to unplug from the world and technology and enjoy each others company and the outdoors. The cabin was so relaxing. We enjoyed making a fire and walking the trails with our dogs. Also had fun playing several rounds of pool and grilling out on the acorn. Escanaba isn’t far where you can visit the brewery or winery, depending your taste. The dog park is not far from Upper Hand Brewery and they are dog friendly on the patio;) When we travel, we like to bring our dogs with us and the cabin welcomed us all. We look forward to staying in the future:)

Remote and Quiet

Wonderful property with ample space and amenities. Outdoor and indoor space made a couple of rainy/colder days fly by. Property is off a dirt road with limited to no cell service but that was what we were looking for. Walking distance from a boat launch & a quick 10 min drive to excellent fishing. There is lots of wildlife and you can sit by the fire or on back porch to take it all in. Had all the dishes, bedding, towels and space to accommodate our vacation. Would highly recommend!

A Slice of Heaven!

Staying on this property was my husband and I, are 17 year old daughter, and our 34 year old son with his wife and 4 yr old daughter. We liked this location as our two other son's families were camping at nearby Shaky Lakes Park. This was our first VRBO experience and it couldn't have been better. The owners have nearly instant replies to our questions. Anything we could have needed was there. So well stocked. Firewood, tinder, S'mores tools. Ice maker, bar games, pool table, darts. Garage door opens and they have screens so you can bring the outdoors in. Well stocked kitchen including some spices, coffee, and even a 'junk drawer' if you need a battery or screwdriver. I just can't explain enough how everything you might need is there! It is in such a beautiful setting. Loved sitting in the back with my morning coffee and then having a fire in the evening. This place is impressive and you won't be disappointed. Thank you so much to our hosts!

Perfect Getaway

It was a great place to stay especially for a few days! We thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend! Make sure to bring bug spray though because it is fairly remote, which we loved.

Great stay!

My sister and I came for two nights and had a blast! It was really awesome to have the bar attached to keep all of our cold-weather gear, as well as the large table so we could do crafts by the wood-burning fireplace. It was perfect.! Owners are right next door; very responsive. Cabin was super clean, beds were comfy. We will be back!

Great relaxing stay!!

The property was great! Exactly what we were looking for, a relaxing get away. Couple stayed for two nights with our small dog. The house was very neat and clean, great decor - modern bit still an up north feel. Kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. The attached game room was fantastic - played pool and enjoyed the bar and fire stove in this area. Fireplace in the house was also great, perfect for cozying up to read with a good book. The outdoor seating area was very well done, comfortable chairs and nice outdoor string lights. The property was well stocked with firewood and kindling, great for the multiple fireplaces and fire pit outside. Was able to walk the dog right from the back door as the property is connected to state land with an ATV type trail. Owner very quick to respond with any questions. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!
