After a reservation mix-up which was quickly taken care of by the host, we enjoyed our stay here. Cute little cabin with everything we needed. Host was a pleasure to deal with.
Located on Old Tobacco Farm. Cottage was everything you see online. Pretty cute. Well maintained. Need to look for the cottage in back. Very quiet. Beautiful roosters on property. There are other residents in the area.
It is close to Kerr Lake which is what we needed it for.
Would stay here again.
I spent two nights on the property. The sign on the road is sometimes hard to see for the turn off. There are permanent resident families living in houses and RVs on the property right next to the house where you stay, so if that bothers you, or if loose dogs bothers you it might not work for you. It appears to be an old tobacco farm, with historical buildings on the property and plenty of woods to frolic in. I was here for the fishing so I didn't spend much time on the property but on Lake Kerr. The property was very quiet which I like. However in warmer weather that might change. There is one double and one single bed in the bedroom and I believe there is a futon couch in the living room. The futon needs more cushion be aware. WiFi and TV were good they have sling app available so bring your log in information. Kitchen is adequate as was the bathroom and shower only, the need a lid on the toilet seat. I would stay here again.
The house was very musky smelling it had a sofa futon sofa that was so uncomfortable u couldn’t sit right on You could feel ever rod n it The Tv played sometimes not all the time The remote didn’t even work it we had to use our hand
