About this property

512-A Great Gulf View Open Dates Cancellation May 9-15 Open Dates June 16-19

Nice 5th floor unit with great private balcony view of the gulf . We are directly across the street from the beach and have a deeded access with 2 private gazebos. Enjoy the beautiful tropical landscaping surrounding pools , water fall and hot tub as well as the view of Little Lagoon. Bring your personal water craft or boat and launch from private boat ramp on Little Lagoon. Two Piers and boat slips are yours to utilize.

The condo is cheerful, fresh and clean. We have one queen bed in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped, and has a great view of the gulf.

One main purpose of coming to Gulf Shores is the beach. We love it! And we hope you love it as much as we do and will come again . Our condo is a non-smoking unit and pets are not allowed. Must be 25 years old to rent unit.

The condo is perfect! We loved the pool and hot tub. Bud and Donna are quick to communicate. We have stayed many places in the Gulf Shores area and will definitely come back to their place. Next year we will try a little fishing as well.

Great place with a great view of the ocean our front and pool/lagoon in the back. Perfect for my husband and I. The only thing I would suggest to update is the bed. Mattress felt like you rolled into the center of the bed and the frame squeaked with every turn during the night. We will definitely plan on staying again the future! Thanks for making our vacation a great one!

Great Place to stay

We checked in after a loooong drive from our hometown in Missouri and was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the Condo and the drop-dead gorgeous view of the Gulf of MEXICO from the balcony. This was our second stay at this unit, and we were not disappointed. We spent 9 beautiful nights at our condo and no doubt will be staying there again.

Intermittent thunderstorms every day we were there which helped keep the August temps in check. Great view of the Gulf shore! Condo was very clean with plenty of supplies like dishes and utensils and small appliances. We had a great time as well as getting to relax at the pool and beach. Would def stay again!

AWFUL! Not sure where to start but overall a huge disappointment. There is definitely a mold issue causing headaches so bad we left the condo a day early. When asking the owner about it I was told he would have “cleaners” look but got not reply after that. No offer to reimburse for the expense of finding another location. No humidifier and notes taped to the bathroom mirror and above thermostat about humidity which is clearly a problem. On top of the above issue, the place is old, musty, furniture looks like it is from the 80’s and came from a garage sale, couch (which is noticeably not pictured) was so nasty looking we put a blanket on top of it before sitting. No dish soap provided, half a roll of TP and no extra, no hand soap…pack as if you are going camping. The complex itself is older but well maintained, however this unit is the worst I have stayed in and the owner needs no further explanation. Luckily we found another place that was wonderful elsewhere but were out the extra money wasted on this dump.

Great Weekend Getaway

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay here. A very quaint location with an ocean view, balcony, and private beach access directly across the street. The condo was in very good condition and Bud & Donna were great hosts. Would recommend a stay here to anyone!

Why they chose this property

Gulf Shores Surf & Racquet Club is a fantastic complex with friendly and courteous staff. The landscaping around the pool area is absolutely beautiful, not like other newer complexes with only bare concrete and no shade. This complex not only has a deeded beach access, but two pavilions with seating if you need to rest on the scenic walk to the beach. I could go go on and on, but in my humble opinion, no other complex compares to Gulf Shores Surf & Racquet Club!

What makes this property unique

We enjoy the beautiful views, walking on the beach, sitting on the piers, cooking and eating fresh sea food. There are two tennis, or pickle ball courts, boat launch into Little Lagoon and fish cleaning station if you happen to be a fisherman. The complex is large enough that guest can also have quiet time by themselves to enjoy the beautiful sun rises or sun sets without distractions. This complex was built in the mid 80's so I am sorry, but no arcades, exercise equipment or lazy rivers.
