We had a great time in Bucksport! Drank coffee on the dock every morning and had campfires every night. My family was able to relax and we made lots of memories. Thank you for letting us stay in your place!

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the quiet and privacy—it really is a great spot to unwind with friends or family. Hope to have you back for another getaway soon!
Eddie was an excellent host with great communication from the time of booking through the time we checked out. Since I moved an hour away from my family, I decided to book this property so we could meet in the middle for Thanksgiving dinner. Not know exactly what would be available in terms of pots and pans, etc.I practically packed up my entire kitchen, but there was absolutely nothing that I needed. The cottage was well-equiped, as well as clean and cozy with a beautiful view of the pond.

We came for our honeymoon for only a few days. The location of the property was really convenient, especially because we went to Acadia several times. The property did have cobb webs in the ceiling.
Loved the area and the cabin was delightful. Eddie was super nice and helpful when needed. Had a great stay.

My grad school buddies and I had a great time relaxing in between hikes at Acadia! Such a cozy place that made us all smile when we walked in! They even had toys, water bowls, and a dog bed for my pup! Very homey, would definitely recommend!

Had an absolutely amazing time. This property is very secluded and the only noise (apart from nature) comes from the occasional cars that drive down the road. Very relaxing for anyone that wants a quiet getaway.

By far the best rental we have experienced. Everything we needed was provided, the house was clean and cozy, and the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed a bon fire in the evening and stargazing. I look forward to returning.

Thanks for the kind words, Brandy! So glad you and the family had a great fall visit to Maine.
Eddie was a great host and very responsive to any messages or questions we had. The property is beautiful and wish we could have enjoyed more of the outdoor things at the cabin but weather played a factor there, but definitely had a blast exploring the surrounding towns and Acadia. Great central location to many great restaurants and breweries within 15-20 minutes. The cabin was clean and well stocked, nice added personal touches and loved the jetted tub to relax at the end of the day. Beds comfortable and we rested well. Loved the fans that were available in the rooms for some white noise. There are multiple entrances so if you do have trouble with stairs you can get to lower level…but dining is on the main floor and will require stairs or you to walk outside. The water pressure was great and no issues to report. Thanks for sharing the property with us and for your hospitality. Property was listed well and photos weee accurate. Book it, Maine is beautiful, Eddie is a great host and the property has all you need to relax.
This home was perfect! It was meticulous! Kudos to the owner and the cleaning person! Everything you could need or want is in this property! Sitting out by the lake is so serene!

We had a great stay at the lake house! We visited to have a pre-Thanksgiving dinner with my daughter and her boyfriend who live in the area. We had everything we needed to make a turkey feast and the home was very cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much and appreciated the thoughtful touches of fresh flowers, chocolate bars and hot cocoa and cider!

Very organized, lovely welcome basket! Great for family with kids to enjoy water sports. We have small dogs so being so close to a busy road made walking them a bit difficult. Easy check in and check out!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property on the lake. The property had a nice firepit where we enjoyed smores and the evening stars. We also enjoyed using the kayak and canoe for a paddle around the lake. I only wish the property was set back off the road a bit due to noise from nearby traffic. Otherwise it is a beautiful spot.
