Kind host with great communication. Phenomenal property with lovely lakeside space. We even stayed “home” a day for a fire, football, & home cooked meal since we could really soak up “Maine” right at “home”.Well equipped kitchen, strong showers, firm beds. For a long stay, may want to BYO fluffy towels. This is a gem!!!

We loved our stay here! We already miss it, and are sad to leave. We plan to come back again next year. We loved being able to hang out by the water, it’s beautiful! Loved fishing, swimming, sitting by the fire. And loved that we could bring ours pups, there were also a lot of places to hike our dogs nearby. And it’s not too far from Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Charming place and location, sits in the middle of plenty of places and relatively peaceful. Quick drive to Bangor, Bucksport, Acadia & Bar Harbor. Was plenty of space for my family of four, which included two teenagers. WiFi was fast, so streaming worked great. Make sure you take time to use the kayaks or canoe that are there, the pond/lake is perfect for it. Host sent check-in information ahead of time and followed-up the day after arrival.

We had a wonderful stay. The kitchen had all the pans etc needed and grill worked great. The pond views are lovely. Our host was helpful and responsive. The property is clean and has a lot of nice touches. Highly recommend.

Great Place in the Woods

The place was super nice, peaceful, and made it easy to get to Acadia. We really enjoyed the kayaks and canoes to use at the pond.

We had a great time in Bucksport! Drank coffee on the dock every morning and had campfires every night. My family was able to relax and we made lots of memories. Thank you for letting us stay in your place!

As advertised! My family and I loved the whole experience from the jacuzzi tub to the kayaks and the lake being so close. Caught plenty of fish, fire pit at night was awesome. Overall very clean and comfy!!

Cute and cozy getaway

My grad school buddies and I had a great time relaxing in between hikes at Acadia! Such a cozy place that made us all smile when we walked in! They even had toys, water bowls, and a dog bed for my pup! Very homey, would definitely recommend!

Excellent Stay and Host

By far the best rental we have experienced. Everything we needed was provided, the house was clean and cozy, and the lake was beautiful. We enjoyed a bon fire in the evening and stargazing. I look forward to returning.

We came for our honeymoon for only a few days. The location of the property was really convenient, especially because we went to Acadia several times. The property did have cobb webs in the ceiling.

Wish we could have stayed longer

Had an absolutely amazing time. This property is very secluded and the only noise (apart from nature) comes from the occasional cars that drive down the road. Very relaxing for anyone that wants a quiet getaway.

Winter retreat

My wife and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The seclusion was perfect for a couple trying to get some time away from kids. Management couldn’t have been any better!

Nice welcome package, great place on the lake. Very close to a busy, curvy road, so watch out if you walk there.

Relaxing getaway

Perfect stay at the lake house

We had a great stay at the lake house! We visited to have a pre-Thanksgiving dinner with my daughter and her boyfriend who live in the area. We had everything we needed to make a turkey feast and the home was very cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much and appreciated the thoughtful touches of fresh flowers, chocolate bars and hot cocoa and cider!

Great view of the pond, spectacular sunsets!

Very organized, lovely welcome basket! Great for family with kids to enjoy water sports. We have small dogs so being so close to a busy road made walking them a bit difficult. Easy check in and check out!
