Comfortable home with open floor-plan; conveniently located on the first beach-side street just inside the Sea Pines Plantation Ocean Gate; only 1 mile from the Plantation Club and both the Sea Marsh and Blue Heron Golf Courses; and only about 600 feet from the beach. World-famous Harbortown Links, numerous restaurants & shops are less than 3 miles away. For nature lovers and hikers, the beautiful Forest Preserve is only a short 10 minute walk away.
This spacious, non-smoking home sleeps to 13 people, and features a huge two-story great room with wet bar and fireplace, dining area, and screened-in porch overlooking deck, private pool and adjoining wooded area. Beautifully decorated with luxurious appointments throughout.
The home features four bedrooms plus a sleeping loft. The huge master bedroom appointments include a king-size bed, fireplace, Shower, Futon, TV/VCR and California closets. The second bedroom (2nd floor) includes a queen-size bed, TV and full bath. The bedroom on the first floor features two twin beds and TV, with a full bath just outside the door.
Sleeping loft (in second floor hallway seating area) has a fireplace, TV and two over-sized arm chairs, each that open into twin beds. Fourth bedroom (on third level) has three twin beds with TV; a great area for kids to 'get away from it all'.
Completely new kitchen features new cabinets, GE PROFILE refrigerator, GE PROFILE double oven, cook-top, microwave oven, granite counter tops and glass tile backsplash. Linens, dishes, small appliances and all utensils are included.
The house is 'DOG FRIENDLY' but prospective renters MUST request Owner approval in advance. All pets MUST be fully house-broken and healthy. When the renter intends to bring their dog along, a Pet Security Deposit is required; payable by separate check. IF no pet-related damage is found to exist upon inspection following check-out, the Pet Security Deposit check is typically destroyed without having been deposited, If the Renter wants the check returned, that request will be honored. If pet-related is discovered the Pet Security Deposit will be used for necessary repairs, with any unused portion returned to the Renter. If pet-related damage exceeds the Pet Security Deposit, the Renter must agree to cover any such excess repair costs.
Relax, you're on vacation; but if needed, complete laundry facilities are available.

Our family of 8 has rented this house for two years in a row. Each time it has been amazing. If you want a house close to the beach and large enough to accommodate a large family, this one is for you.
Our kids had a hard time choosing between the private pool and the beach so they could run between the two very easily. The house is very close to the beach path.
The kitchen is it cook’s dream and The layout of the entire house is phenomenal.
The Kitchen is stocked with almost everything you need to cook a large dinner. The owners have even left a crockpot for renters use!
The Tourette staircase to the third floor opens into such a cute loft sleeping area for the kids where they are safely and soundly Tucked away from noise . Our kids loved sleeping up there! It’s like their own private getaway.
You really can’t beat the location. We love the Sea Pines community . It’s so safe . No need to worry about your kids . They gated community leads to a very safe environment. We can park our car in the driveway and ride our bikes to almost anything in town, Harbortown, or the south end of the island.
If you Stay don’t forget to check out the sea Pines Beach Club. This house is an easy walk to it.
I really can’t say enough good things about this house. It’s clean and the owners really care about their guests. I would not hesitate to recommend this house to anyone.
Everything was clean, plenty of dishes and towels and sleeping accommodations were comfortable. Great owner who communicates well and promptly. Close to the beach.

Fabulous Updated Beach House - Fantastic Vacation
My husband and I and another couple spent the month of February in this luxurious Sea Pines beach house. It is so large, and everything feels new. There was plenty of room when our children and grandchildren visited. We are cooks and the new kitchen is gorgeous. The weather was perfect for walking the close beach, playing tennis and golf. We are coming back for a week n the Summer.
Very nice stay close to the beach
The interior is very nice and spacious. The exterior was partially repainted but we were advised in advance that they were behind schedule and it did not affect our stay. The short walk to the beach was great.
Cable channel choices were a little limited and instructions for using the fireplace would have been helpful. These were only minor areas for improvement. Overall we were very happy with our stay.
Fabulous beach retreat
Terrific house; comfortable and very clean. The exterior of the house evidently was in the process of being prepped for painting just before we arrived but the workmen stayed away during our visit. This house is completely as described on the website. There was plenty of room for all of us. Very nice furnishings and amenities throughout. I particularly enjoyed the well equipped kitchen since I love to cook, as well as the recently renovated master bedroom suite. The new BBQ grill on the deck was a nice treat too; we cooked out twice during our stay.
My 2 grandkids loved the futon in the master bedroom; even slept there one night, even though they had their own bedroom. And we particularly enjoyed that there were some seating areas away from the great room for those times when you just wanted to be off by yourself for a while.
This house is well located in a very quiet area, yet close to restaurants and shops and only a short walk to the beach. We saw that the owner left some chairs in the carport that we could take to the beach. The owner was very easy to deal with.
What a wonderful home
While the house looked great on the website, we had some concerns after reading some earlier 2017 guest reviews and, before making our rental decision for our family reunion, discussed those with the Owner. In fairness,the Owner offered no excuses and readily acknowledged (and accepted full responsibility for) the issues raised by some previous guests. He did emphasize, however, that all of those previous problems had been completely resolved, a new top-notch cleaning service was hired to replace the previous service that had been found to do a poor job. The second floor ac system was completely replaced with a brand new, larger capacity system. We were assured that our stay would be enjoyable and care-free.
The owner was right. In addition to being very clean, we found the house to be very spacious and comfortable, despite being a pretty big group of 6 adults and 4 kids. We experienced none of the problems cited in earlier reviews. We loved the completely updated kitchen and learned that, just recently,all of the bathrooms had been nicely updated with new vanities and marble counter tops.
This house is located only a short 5 minute walk from the beach, with no busy streets to cross to get there. We appreciated that the Owner left folding chairs in the carport that we could take to the beach, along with games, puzzles and books, etc. in the house for everyone to enjoy on the one rainy day of our stay. We also got a lot of use from the new stainless steel BBQ gas grill.
All things considered, this was a very enjoyable stay in a very clean and comfy place. We can highly recommend this house for families with and without kids. In fact, we are already looking for dates to book the house again next year.

House is available only on a first-come, first served basis. Renters must confirm that they are no less than twenty-five (25) years of age and are financially responsible for any damage done above normal wear and tear. Cleaning fees and all applicable fees relative to the house rental EXCEPT VRBO WEBSITE FEES are included in the rental rates quoted. The Property Owner does not receive any portion of VRBO website fees charged to renters. f you want to reserve the house, when you proceed to checkout on the website, you can go to ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT and opt to pay then ONLY THE VRBO SERVICE FEE. After that, all details, including payment of the actual rental fee to the property Owner, will be handled directly between the Property Owner and the Renter. It is also our understanding that the VRBO fee is refundable by VRBO if, for any reason, you do not actually proceed with the rental. Sea Pines automobile gate pass fees are not included in the rental fee quoted for the house and must be added to the rental fee at $16 per week per pass; rates are subject to change by Sea Pines Plantation without prior notice. Gate pass fees are payable whenever the final payment for the Property rental is made by the Renter. RENTAL RATES MAY CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE Dogs considered on a case-by-case basis; requires a separate PET SECURITY DEPOSIT and a provision added to the RENTAL AGREEMENT stating that the Property Owner assumes no risk or liability for dogs brought to the house by the Renter or Renter's guests. Renter assumes full responsibility for any pet-related damage to property and full liability for any pet brought to the premises. Renter also is responsible for adhering to all local ordinances regarding pets.
