About this property
Lakefront Home in Coastal Maine
Listen to the call of the loons and play in the lake to your hearts content at this stunning, custom built home on Crawford Lake. Laze away the days on the dock, play all day on the swim float or bring your kayak, canoe or boat and explore all the lake has to offer. Crawford Lake is perfect for swimming, fishing and boating and the house looks across at beautiful Hundred Acre Island (an entirely undeveloped island owned by a local land trust). Located only 20 minutes from Camden, Rockport and Rockland the home makes the perfect home base for exploring mid-coast Maine.
***Sunday-to-Sunday rental only***
The home features an open living space sitting just feet from the lake's edge. The kitchen (with gas range) is designed with cooks in mind, but the gas grill outside often gets more use than the kitchen in the summer.
The first floor also features a master bedroom (Olympic queen bed) with attached full bath. The second floor features two bedrooms and a full bath. Bedroom 1 has queen bed; bedroom 2 has two XL twin beds. The basement of the home provides a TV and play space. There is also highspeed internet/wifi and air conditioning in all bedrooms.
This home is a Sunday-to-Sunday rental only.

Lovely house in a great location. All the kitchen facilities you need. Clean interior and very nice fire place and barbecue area. Very responsive host.
A beautiful home with a beautiful view. All our expectations met. Peaceful days visiting nearby harbor towns, always returning to the beauty of Crawford Pond.
The house is lovely and updated - beautiful kitchen, bedrooms, etc. But the view is the wow factor - so many windows to allow the fresh air and beautiful lake views in. Our family really enjoyed the kayaks and the surrounding area. 10/10 would stay here again.
I want to keep this place our secret - it was a beautiful home on a gorgeous lake. The house had everything we needed for our stay and even though we love the region, we found that we only left the property occasionally because it was so restful. The hosts communicated quickly and clearly about the check in process and any questions we had during our stay. We are looking forward to coming again next year.
Owner was very responsive. We had a very nice time.
Everybody enjoyed coming to visit.
My only recommendation is that the TV be moved to the main floor and a ceiling fan in the family room would have been nice since there is no air conditioning in the main rooms.
There are so many great things about this VRBO. My son caught tons of fish off the dock, the neighborhood is quiet and restful, a lovely path for walking and comfortable beds. However a golden retriever has spent time in the home so if you are sensitive to pets - be aware. Also - some of the furniture in the living room is worn and needs replacing or recovering. A deep clean of all the kitchen pots and pans would also help. The hosts are wonderful and check in and out was a breeze - not too far of a drive into Camden but secluded and quiet if you need more of a restful place.
We had a great vacation at this beautiful home on the lake.
The house has everything you need to enjoy your time away.
The beds are very comfortable and the place was very clean.
We enjoyed kayaking and fishing with many large bass caught and released. Thanks for sharing your awesome lake house.
The house was amazing. Right on the lake with a nice dock, kayaks and paddleboard. Although it was late June, the lake wasn't too cold for a swim. The owners and neighbors were very friendly. I don't think I will ever forget the sound of the loons on the lake in the morning and early evening. Would definitely come back.
We loved our vacation and created so many memories! The house is beautifully designed and has all the comforts of home! It’s quiet and filled with things to do. The kitchen is well equipped and it was fun preparing meals with such amazing views of the lake. The owners are available and very helpful in helping us to learn more about the area. We stayed for a month and look forward to returning!!!
Thank you for such a great experience!!!
This lakefront property exceeded our expectations for our week-long stay and small family reunion. The home is beautiful inside, and the location in the woods is peaceful. It's convenient location to Camden, Rockport and Rockland (all just 20 minutes away) made it a convenient home base for exploring this area of Maine. The check-in process was seamless and our host was very responsive tp our questions about the area. Indeed, we were offered many suggestions about things to do and restaurants to try, and all the recommendations were excellent. We would definitely stay here again if and when we choose to return to this area for another vacation.
In mid June lake was very quiet. Enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and Loon families. Beautiful home base to explore Camden, Rockport, Bath and Bar Harbor. Owner very responsive to questions about dining and activities.
