Really enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The landscaping in the community is beautiful. We found the description of the property and photos posted accurate and the host very responsive to our inquiries. When initially arrived there seemed to be dust in the air but it cleared up after running the ceiling fans and air conditioner. We enjoyed our stay and would book this property again. The property is very nice and thank you.

We stayed here for work and to see family, we will definitely be staying here anytime we are in town. Host very easy to communicate with, no issues at all at the home. Very clean, feels like home away from home. T. Young

Can’t beat location if visiting Walden Lake

The house is very convenient for anyone visiting Walden Lake. You can’t beat this location. The house is spacious and has all basic amenities. The property isn’t particularly fancy but it is clean and suited our needs perfectly.

Overall good

The house needs a deep cleaning, there were a few broken blinds, hole in a door. It needs some TLC but the neighborhood was great.

Work Trip

I came into town with my wife for a job. We picked this house because of the pool. We never received a welcome pack with the code for the house, so after calling the contact number several times and messaging them on the VRBO app, we finely received the code while sitting outside in the rain. Apparently the host just forgot to send it. The pool and outdoor area in general were dirty.

Wedding trip

House is very nice. Needs dressers in bedrooms for clothes. Could use some upgraded kitchen pots and pans for cooking. Still very satisfied

TLC needed

Great location from where we needed to be and cost was appropriate for quality. Definitely needs a deep cleaning. Lipstick left on glasses, pool, dust thru out but very noticeable in kitchen and laundry room. We got what we paid for, but place could be so much better.

Good and needs some TLC

The location is great. So while the beds were comfortable the posted pictures are from many moons ago. There was a missing smoke detector in the hallway off the secondary bedrooms to boot. Carpet is stained and covered with small rugs which proved to be a tripping hazard. Prior comments mentioned a deep cleaning was necessary and I concur.

This is not a Ranch

First, the home is in a Deed Restricted Community which was fine but advertised as a Ranch. House needs a lot of love. It’s clean but carpets are worn and stained, TV’s need replacing. 3 remotes needed for the master bedroom TV. Beds are not comfortable. Owner asked us to have our car out of the driveway one morning so they could access the garage. Someone obviously came in and trashed this house at some point based on all the rules provided in the kitchen. Not worth the money. Stay in a hotel.

House is in a quiet and nice neighborhood. I would rate the cleanliness as broom clean but not what I would consider up to VRBO standards. Pool area needs a good cleaning as well as the pool. No skimmer available for removing debris and bottom of pool had a lot of leaves in it. Doesn't look like any updates have been made to the house in years as the paint is probably original contractors paint. Rugs have alot of stains and need a good cleaning or replacement. Couldn't sleep on the master bedroom bed as the matress and boxspring need replacement. With a few upgrades this house would meet VRBOs standards.

Hot and disappointed

To begin, the leaves need cutting on the front before the entrance door because you have to duck to avoid being poked in the face and eyes with them. The chairs on the porch could not be set in because they were so dirty… upon entry. The property was very hot. The first thermostat was broken and in operable the second thermostat we found was set on heat at 69 and the temp in the property was 81. The temp never wavered beneath 78. shower liner was dirty. We had four total wash gloves, and we had to clean spiders and spiderwebs from the chairs at the pool. owner was contacted, but nothing was done about the air.. all we got was a lot of questions so we got frustrated and stopped contacting him and left the doors wide, open all day to let the heat out.. the master commode ran ..constantly as well and the icemaker did not work It could have been a great house But unfortunately we had to make the best of things. there were also spots on the sheets in one of the beds.

Not as advertised. Ants, cockroaches, dust everywhere (so thick you could write "wash me" in it), fridge dirty with green growing, oven filthy, dirty pans, old food in cupboards, counters needed cleaning, microwave had splattered food, "clean" towels had hair on them, dryer wouldn't work, couple of holes in wall, multiple stains on carpet, TV missing in master bedroom, TV remotes didn't have batteries, pool dirty, pool had chips in plaster (needs to be resurfaced), mildew/mold growing on pool toys & deck, bedroom screen had two holes (from break in??), vertical blinds didn't work properly in 3rd bedroom, smoke detector disconnected, back door closer broken, all doors were filthy for about one foot around door knobs, pool was overflowing without proper drain hose/provisions (had to fix it, got soaking wet in the storm, so the home wouldn't flood during the storm with 12" of rain predicted in the next 8 hours), We had rented for three days but had to vacate after two days because there was no electricity and the place was filthy. It was worse than a cheap no-tell motel type of property. We asked the owner for half of our money to be refunded, but he never responded. There is a reason that no refunds are offered at this property. The property owner only had poor excuses for the property condition and did not offer any solutions. We documented everything with pictures and sent to VRBO, but was returned unopened. Too costly for our first experience with VRBO. Never again.
