Falling Leaf is the Quintessential Cabin nestled in the woods in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Private community access to the Shenandoah River is within a 3/4 mile. The Cabin is located 15 minutes from the town of Luray, and within a 30 minute drive of many popular attractions such as Shenandoah National Park, the Shenandoah River and Luray Caverns.

Whether you are here for a romantic weekend, family gathering or simply to get away from it all, once you visit Falling Leaf Cabin you will never want to leave.

The Cabin is privately owned and family operated, offering all the comforts of home.

The Falling Leaf Cabin sleeps up to 4 guest, features 2 bedrooms with Queen Beds and 1 & 1/2 Baths. The main bedroom is a spacious loft, while the second downstairs bedroom has a private half bath. The fully equipped Kitchen leads to a Dining and Living area with hardwood floors , 18' vaulted ceilings with a Gas Log Stone fireplace. A cozy upper back deck has a beautiful view of the Massanutten Mountain. Outside, listen to the sounds of nature as you relax in the Hot Tub. Adjacent to the Cabin there is a fire-pit to enjoy camping experience. Security camera monitors yard and driveway.

The Falling Leaf Cabin is open year round for you to enjoy a quiet retreat in all of the seasons.

Mountain Whisper Cabins prides itself in presenting you with a clean and comfortable cabin. Leave the cabin as you found it, and in good order for cleaning staff.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY Over occupancy is a violation and you will be asked to vacate the property. Over-limit minimum $150 fee will apply.
If guest fails to notify owner of pet, a $250 fee will apply. No Cats Permitted. Max. 1 Pet. Clean after pet in yard and vacuum hair from the floors.

The House is awesome. Beautiful area.Super responsive owner!Keep in mind it’s a little further of a drive to actual Woodstock than we anticipated but if you plan on going to tournaments etc in Woodstock it is a bit of a hike.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay! The cabin was super clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The hot tub was sensational! Our only issue was that the internet stated in the listing as suitable for gaming was inaccurate at 4mbs. We were not able to game online with friends as we usually do. No worries. We enjoyed the unplugged time instead. One suggestion: add an AC wall unit downstairs. We wanted to sleep in the downstairs bedroom to have an en suite toilet, but it was so muggy down there. We used the loft bedroom and had to use the stairs in the night to use the restroom.

We stayed at Falling Leaf Cabin for three nights for my birthday getaway, just my husband and myself, and overall we had a wonderful stay. The cabin was exceptionally clean, check-in was easy, and the checkout instructions were simple and stress-free. Everything worked exactly as it should with the exception of the internet.If you are truly looking for seclusion, peace, and a chance to disconnect, this cabin is perfect. We actually ended up enjoying being unplugged for a few days. The Wi-Fi did technically work, but it performed best with only one device connected at a time, so I would not recommend this cabin for anyone planning to work remotely or rely heavily on internet access during their stay.That said, the quiet setting, privacy, and overall experience made for a relaxing trip, and we would absolutely stay again.

Mountain Whisper Cabins was founded in 2005 after purchasing the cabin I grew up in and settling back into the Valley.

My mother moved to the Shenandoah Valley in 1969 with 3 children and 1 one the way. I was the one on the way. In the fall of 1970, My Uncle Joe, Aunt Jackie and my mother, Nancy, began Shenandoah River Outfitters with two old aluminum canoes and a dream.

Why they chose this property

The Falling Leaf was added to my cabin business in 2009. My, Uncle Joe, wrote, “[Shenandoah] I dipped my paddle in your life and you refreshed me.” The valley is a place to fill your soul in all the seasons, and I would like to share it with you.
