This 100 year old casita has been completely renovated and includes all modern amenities for the vacation traveler. It includes 3 courtyards, perfect for napping, reading or just watching the incredible Santa Fe stars.

The fully equipped gourmet kitchen will please the most discerning cooks--ready for formal entertaining or just making a cup of coffee. There is a breakfast bar and adjacent dining area. The living room boasts it's own fireplace and opens into a wisteria covered courtyard via French doors-allowing you to entertain in Santa Fe style.

The compound is fully walled and gated for your security, includes 2 parking spaces, wireless internet and a lap pool.

Your Santa Fe getaway is located at 610 Agua Fria, 87501- within 2 blocks of 6 Frommer's guide top restaurants, Farmers Market, galleries, spa and Railyard.

About The Owner

Don and Rodger studied architecture together at the University of New Mexico years back and fell in love with Santa Fe! Despite having moved to different parts of the country they have stayed best friends all these years and stayed in touch - decided to invest in this beautiful home so that they could visit often with their friends and families. Last September Rodger (pictured on the left) even celebrated his marriage with long-time girlfriend Ana Marie on the grounds of the compound (it's perfect for parties!)

In this picture Rodger and Don are enjoying Silver Coin Margaritas at Bell Tower Bar in the La Fonda Hotel. Its one of their favorite spots to watch the spectacular Santa Fe sunsets. Happy to share their favorite getaway with YOU!

Why The Owner chose Santa Fe

Location, Location, Location! We love the Railyard District! You can easily walk anywhere in Santa Fe from our home. We have a great basket that you can borrow to go to the Farmers + Artists Market just a few blocks away. You'll meet lots of locals who have made Santa Fe their home.

If you want a car to go to Ten Thousand Waves or so you can drive up to the Aspen Trail Vista for a hike- having 2 parking spots means you'll never have to search for a parking spot!

There are only 4 units in the entire Compound so its very private and quiet. Talk to us about renting the entire Compound for a special event.

What makes this house unique

Kitty and Greg are our property managers and they know EVERYTHING about Santa Fe! They are also amazing artists - ask them to show you their work.

The perfect Santa Fe getaway...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this terrific casita. With essentially two master suites, all the desired amenities and incredibly close walking distance to town center, it was the perfect space to share with a couple of our close friends. The owners were very responsive and the caretaker was above-and-beyond helpful. While on one hand we'd love for this wonderful place to be a best-kept secret, we certainly won't hesitate to recommend it to anyone interested in traveling to magical Santa Fe.

Wonderful location, close to everything yet still quite

There were 5 ladies on our annual girls trip and this place was just perfect for us. The 2 large bedrooms on each end with their own baths worked our great. The kitchen was nice, large and very well equipped. The pool area was nice even though the water in September was a bit chilly - still nice to put your feet in after a long day of walking. The house and the surrounding area inside the gate were very clean and well maintained. Kitty was wonderful to work with and explained everything about the area. I think the listing as shown and the property in person were very well matched.

We walked into the old town and also walked to the Saturday farmer's market. The walk is not bad at all and the area felt very safe.

We went to Tia Sophia's for breakfast and had some wonderful green chile stew. We also went to a restaurant close to the farmer's market that Kitty recommended and the tamales there were outstanding.

Overall our stay in Santa Fe was everything we hope for.

A taste of Santa Fe in the Heart of Santa Fe

My husband and 2 kids (5 and 8) recently stayed in this charming property for a whole month. It is oozing with Santa Fe style, from the architecture to the decorations, giving it a very authentic experience. It was well appointed with bath & pool towels, stocked kitchen & pantry, and the care takers were very attentive and helpful with good local tips and recommendations. We liked how the 2 bedrooms were on opposite ends of the property, giving us privacy after we put the kids to bed at night. We also loved the private patios, gated security and how walkable it was to get to the Railyard and downtown. The shared pool and laundry were also clean and convenient. Our only complaint was that the internet connection was intermittent, which was a hindrance for my husband who was working remotely during that time. The owners were quick to get someone from Comcast to come out once we shared our struggle, but it sounded like the rewiring wasn't going to be completed in time to help us. In the meantime though, the care takers were generous enough to give us a key to the neighbor's unit which was unoccupied (where the connection was much better), as well as refund us one night for our troubles. You could tell they felt really bad about it and my husband especially was very grateful for the accommodations they made. (It sounded like they were addressing the issue so it should be remedied for future visits but you might want to check if internet is a big deal for you). All in all, though it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend to others!

Perfection!

I stayed in this beautiful property on a recent trip to Santa Fe with my best friend. We've stayed at several rental properties in Santa Fe and this was by far our favorite! The gated compound with ample parking made us feel safe and secure, which, as two women travelers, we very much appreciated. The layout was absolutely perfect for privacy with the bedrooms being at opposite ends. The property manager was very welcoming and helpful in showing us around the property and providing restaurant suggestions. We used the laundry room, and the pool, both very nice perks! The location is fantastic. Close to the Plaza and Railyard and several restaurants within just minutes of walking. With the exception of the WiFi going in and out, everything about this property was truly perfect. Crossing my fingers that it will be available for our future stays in Santa Fe.

Tasteful decorated house and close to the Plaza

A beautiful house in the the southwest style with lots of tasteful art. The two bedrooms are on the opposite sides of the house which is advantages when traveling as two couples. The housekeeper was very nice and gave recommendations for restaurants etc. in The area which we also tried out and were very pleased with cuisine and ambience. The plaza is only 10 minutes walking distance. I am looking forward to coming again.
