This home has it all! Not only is it front row, beach front, it is 2000 square foot with high end custom furniture. This home features 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms with an open concept living space. The Wahoo is perfect for a quick getaway with friends or family and has all the amenities needed to make your stay perfect! We strive to give our guests the perfect stay which includes everything you need for the perfect beach stay. We offer our guests the luxury of being able to park at the home prior to check-in. However, we ask that all guests stay downstairs prior to check-in time which is at 4 PM. You may use the grill and downstairs shower.

Celebrating 4th with family

Love the house location, love house decorations, kitchen wares need to be replaced! Need more coffee cups. The gas grill need to be cleaner and need some furnitures downstairs for BBQ. Our family of 12 feel very comfortable in this house! Kimberly very prompt to our needs, she’s an excellent host!

Thank you so much for the feedback! We have ordered new cookware to replace the older ones. We are also putting in place a big sign that of BBQ is used, it must be cleaned or there could be a fine. And... we are ordering a picnic table for downstairs so at least peoe are able to have a little place to sit and mingle! Very great suggestions and much appreciated! We hope to see you all back. Disappointed in Surfside

The location of the property is great. However, the evening we arrived, we noticed there were some issues with the property. The property was clean, but had a very strong musty odor. The carpet appeared to need cleaning, the shower curtain rod was corroded, and the coffee pot was completely rusted. At this point, we left and drove home. If there's an issue with a property, we try to work with the host. The host responded to my message about the issues, saying we should have stayed and allowed her to "fix" things. It was already evening, so I'm not sure how she planned to do this, and I doubt she could have resolved the odor issue. Also, we received an email after we booked that the water from the tap isn't drinkable. This alone wouldn't have deterred us as we could bring bottled water, but we feel this should be disclosed up front.

August Visit - cleanliness issues

House was not very clean. Fridge smelled like fish. Freezer drawers were broken. We tried cleaning the fridge and placed baking soda in fridge. Dishes in kitchen were dirty in the cabinets/drawers. Cabinets and drawers were dirty. Only 6 towels were available for a home that sleeps 16 (we had twelve people). There were no kitchen tea towels. There were no extra sheets/pillows for the pullout couch. The chairs at the dining room table were stained. Vents were covered in dust and dirt. Shower curtains and shower rods were rusted out. Black mold in the wine cooler. Sink on right side Jack and Jill bathroom was broken. Overall had a good time after we spent a few hours cleaning the house up, then tried making sure it was cleaner when we left than when we received it. Spices were listed as amenities, but they expired in 2015. Smoked and carbon monoxide detectors were not present. Disappointed in the cleanliness. But the view was great and the patio furniture was clean. Also note, trash company did not come pick up cans (trash day was Friday, cans were at the road Thursday night)

Good, great, exceptional

The first impression is nice. A closer look and the kitchen was not clean and did not have a basic cleaning. Refrigerator have liquid spilled in on all shelves and into the freezer. Oven needed cleaning had baked on crumbs and smells inside. All appliances had fingerprints and smudges from prior groups stay. We were asked to wash a load of towels and there was not laundry pods to do so. Had to purchase cleaning supplies to do a basic wipe down of all surfaces. Carpets had not been vacuumed and floors were dirty. The main area for gathering is the kitchen, livin and dining and these areas were the most unclean and unsanitary. These areas being a mess have me and my guest feeling that what else hasn’t been cleaned and wiped down. For the price there should have been basic shampoo and bath soaps. The location is awesome the comedy for the night was great watching people get stuck in the sand. That was better than a TV show. Despite the uncleanliness we had a awesome time. Work on a cleaner place and combined with the great location and house in general you will have a exceptional place

Perfect , unobstructed Ocean views-some cleanliness and water quality issues

Loved the location and the home furnishings. Only a couple of issue-- cleanliness could have been better, some hair and minor debris on the floors, pots and pans were not really usable due to peeling coatings, and some dishes and cabinets were not very clean. The property manager said she is fixing all of that. The water is not really potable except via a small filter in the kitchen sink. The whole house needs an active filter system and bottled water should have been provided due to the water smell and discoloration. My spouse thought the mattress was uncomfortable. Even with those issues, we loved the location and recommend it if you bring your own water and maybe a mattress topper with you or the owner provides them.

BEAUTIFUL, BREATHTAKING BEACHFRONT!

The smooth process of booking and Kimberly’s hosting with this beautiful, we’ll equipped, clean, well appointed rental/vacation house ! It made us want and plan to go back again whenever possible. Kim was very accommodating with questions we have. It made a difference. We enjoyed our stay knowing she’ll be on anything that we had or might have challenges with.

Family Festivities

We visit Surfside regularly from Chicago with lots of Houston area family. It was our 1st time at Wahoo and it was perfect! Loved the location and plenty of room for family visitors. The open kitchen and dining area made for a great lively atmosphere and the unobstructed view from the deckof the sunrise over the gulf with coffee on the deck was spectacular. We all especially enjoyed the beach from youngsters to seniors. Look forward to a return visit!

Wonder family-friendly ocean-front home

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Kimberly’s property! We cooked a lot of meals and loved eating outside on the huge porch overlooking the ocean. Kimberly was a wonderful host and quick to respond to our questions. We hope to return next year!

This is a great place to stay! The home was well maintained, beautifully decorated, and the view is like no other! Great access to the beach...My family and I truly loved how spacious the house was. Great location

This home has a fantastic location with easy, walking access to the beach. Stake out your place on the beach early, as it quickly fills up with cars. The owner was quick to respond to the few issues we found in the home, hand delivering a replacement remote. I would stay again.

Very spacious with an at home feel to it.

This place is perfect. It overlooks the beach with easy access to and from it. The beach house is very clean, comfortable and well maintained. We enjoyed sitting out on the huge balcony and hearing the calm sound of the waves rolling in on the beach. The nautical theme through out the house was very nice and eye catching. We will definitely book our next stay here.

Wahoo is wonderful.

The house was great. Rooms for everyone. Plenty of space in main room and kitchen. Walk to the beach was easy. My family has made a beach trip every year for 12 years. Wahoo is top three all time.

Very nice beach home. Emphasize on the Very. Super clean and accomodating. Great elevated deck to enjoy the ocean and beach view. Only wish we had a few more days to enjoy all it had to offer!w

Wahoo beach house.

The Wahoo beach house was great. Beautiful view from the front porch and main room. Very clean upon arrival. Kimberly with Peak Properties was always available to address any of our questions. Wish it was for sale.
