About Marsha & Ken Hobert
We have lived in Glen Haven since 1981 and wouldn't live anywhere else. Glen Haven is a small, private community, outside of Estes Park.It is so beautiful and peaceful with the sound of the river at our doorstep. There are easy trails into the forest following the sound of the river along the way.
Marsha & Ken Hobert purchased this Cabin in 2003
Why Marsha & Ken Hobert chose Glen Haven
We fell in love with the log cabin and bought it within a few hours of it being put on the market. Having a home up the road, we wanted to have another place to rent out when family and friends were not visiting.
What makes this Cabin unique
The best thing about the Glen is the sound of the river and the wonderful, private community. We look forward to personally showing you to the cabin for your relaxing visit. While this cabin can accommodate up to 4 people, our other property #688204 is more suited for 4 people as it is larger, has a washer/dryer/dishwasher, and large TV with Netflix.

The cabin was very nice, and conveniently located near the beautiful town of Estes Park. Upon arrival, Marsha met us at the cabin to show us around not to mention the cabin was very clean. Overall the cabin was the perfect getaway and definitely recommend this place to everyone!
Great location, peace experience
We had a wonderful stay, the property was ideal for our stay to visit RMNP. Marsha was so helpful and a great host. The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking and serving.
Winter Wonderland in a Cozy Cabin
We just got back from our amazing stay in this cozy cabin in the woods. It was a nice, short and beautiful drive from the cabin to Estes, and the cabin was so cozy, we looked forward to returning to it each day. Wonderful trip! We already plan to go back in the future in hopes to be able to stay in this cabin again! Thank you!!!
We have visited Estes Park frequently but this was our first time to stay in Glen Haven. The cabin is a very short but scenic drive from Estes Park. The cabin itself is perfect for a relaxing getaway - almost like staying in a postcard! We highly recommend this cabin and Glen Haven.
Perfect Little Get Away
This cabin was perfect for our long weekend to RMNP. The location is perfect to enjoy the national park while avoiding the hustle and bustle of Estes Park. The drive to Estes is about 10 minutes and 15 or so to the park entrances. Glen Haven is a small and quiet town. Being there off season (October) there wasn't much going on but we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The scenery and quiet were perfect to unwind and relax. The cabin is in a little area of other small cabins but is still very private. It was fully equipped and sized just right for the two of us. No cell service which is nice to unplug but we did use the wi-fi to keep in contact with family and it worked great. There is also a land line which works just fine too. The TV is connected on the wi-fi via Roku and would be great for cold or rainy weather. We enjoyed the fireplace as well with the chilly evenings. Ken and Marsha were easy to work with and although unneeded during our stay are always reachable and responded to all messages prior to arrival. We would highly recommend a stay here and would happily go back!
Peace & Quiet outside RMNP
This cozy, quiet & very clean cabin allowed us to relax after our days of hiking/sightseeing in RMNP. It was nice to be away from the hustle/bustle of Estes & RMNP. Both are an easy, scenic 15-20 minutes away. It's a perfect cabin for a couple especially those who prefer to eat in. There are excellent hikes close by (flatlanders might want to acclimate a couple of days prior to hiking Gem Lake). Ken & Marsha were excellent hosts!
This cabin is located in Glen Haven, a peaceful, quiet community only 7.5 from Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabin is located on 3 acres and is surrounded by many trees and the national forest. There is a log table in the back of the property where one can eat their meals outside in serenity or relax and watch and listen to the surrounding area. If this cabin is booked, please see our new listing (VRBO Listing #688204)
