Come enjoy beautiful Holden Beach and bring your boat to Dibbs on Holden, a charming and spacious three-bedroom, three-bathroom waterfront home right on the canal. You will find a well-equipped kitchen and a dining area with plenty of seating, a living room, and a bedroom on the first floor. Upstairs there is a large sitting area with a TV and two bedrooms. Relax on the covered back deck overlooking the canal or enjoy dinners on the sun deck with an attached floating dock. There is also an outdoor shower and sink.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Dock details: Dock is 20ft x 8ft with cleats and a ladder. Driveway can fit a boat trailer.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Overall, great experience

Feels like home!

House was spacious and very comfortable. Beds were nice. Enjoyed the view of the canal. Grandkids loved catching crabs w crab basket. Truly felt like home away from home. Very clean! WiFi very weak and could use some checking into. Would suggest access to vacuum cleaner for guests with children so don’t have to sweep everything.

Memorial weekend getaway

The house was beautiful and comfortable but dated. The dock, which is where we spent a lot of time, is in much need of repairs with boards being loose on it and the deck above it. Did like the convenience to the beach access. Overall we had a good time.

Amazing!

This was our favorite house yet at Holden! It has everything you need and more! Very spacious, clean and great location. Minutes to the beach which is VERY convenient with little ones! Vacasa was great to work with too!! Can't wait to book again and we have FINALLY found the home we want to stay in every year!

Dibbs on holden

Great location we came for a short mini vacation and to attend a wedding I love fishing so being able to fish intercostal right out the back door was awesome the walk to the beach was also short which is nice with most places requiring you to pay to park now days the dock was nice good comfortable chairs I wish the sink on the dock worked but it was only a minor inconvenience... the outdoor shower was really nice when coming back from the beach. More room than what we needed as there was only my wife two kids and myself but plenty of beds for several more people we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay agin

Dibbs on Holden

Love the layout of the house and beach accessibility. Really like that linens and towels were provided, one less thing to pack. Nice outdoor areas, decks and under the house. Loved that the area under the house was completely gated so we did not have to worry about children escaping. Everyone was also impressed with the outdoor shower Would suggest that they add trash cans to bedrooms and upstairs common area. Also a ladder would be nice for the canal dock. The kids like to take a dip off the dock but could not do so because getting back on the dock was too difficult.

Beautiful place that is just shy of being excellent

Cool place with enough room for a small family. The location on the canal was really great. From sitting & reading to fishing, our entire family loved being at the canal. The walking distance to the beach wasn't bad for most of our group, but my 75 year old dad struggled with it. Public beach access was right there at the end of the road, but there is no place to wash or shower off at this access. The house easily slept our family of 7. The older home has been treated with some decorative and technology updates - wifi is good and the TV size was fantastic. We noticed on day one that the upstairs TV was not mounted properly & almost toppled over - we made a call and they fixed it that afternoon. Property management was great. A/C worked great on a crazy hot week. Kitchen was well supplied and we were able to make some great meals there at the house. The outdoor shower and laundry room was a big plus! Stuff we felt needed a touch: The house wasn't cleaned well when we arrived. There were big hair balls in the floors, the upstairs shower had dirt in it from not being cleaned and definitely some dirty dishes in the cabinets - as if the previous guests just put them in there instead of washing them. The beds felt a little small, there desperately needs to be more trash cans around the house and the bathrooms need updating, but that's just picky stuff. The only thing we didn't have that we really would have wanted was a grill. Other than that, it was a 5 star vacation.

Great location

Great layout. House needs updating. Many cracked tiles in bath downstairs and kitchen. Bedrooms are fine with 2 large bathrooms upstairs and great hangout area upstairs for teens.

Perfect additional lounge area for the kids!

We really enjoyed having the upstairs living area and gaming area for the evenings with the kids. The boys played upstairs while the moms and little lady watched movies downstairs. Perfect setup for a multi-family vacation. Loved the hot water option in the outside shower for our cold week and loved the multiple sitting areas outside under the home & on the dock. Only suggestion is to add hairdryers to the bathrooms! Most people don’t travel with those. House was very well stocked otherwise.

Walking distance to the beach, clean

The location of this house was prime. With 2 kids under 3, one parent could stay at the beach and another could walk back with a baby for nap times. Very easy to come and go. Food Lion was close to stock the fridge and every utensil and cooking item we could need was present in the kitchen. The house was very clean, so I didn't have to worry about the baby crawling on the floor. The only thing that could have helped us would be a kid's step stool for the bathroom sink, but this was by no means essential. We enjoyed our stay.

Glad to have had Dibbs

Kitchen was well stocked. Living areas were nicely spaced for our group of 7. House was very clean. Short walk to the beach. Outdoor areas were super, well furnished. Even included dish and laundry soap as well as some paper products. Food Lion 10 minute drive.

Beautiful home

We had a wonderful vacation. The location on the back water was great, we just wish the fishing dock didn't have damaged buoys and was more stable. There was plenty of room for everyone and the inside of the home is beautiful. The outdoor shower room was perfect. The kitchen was very nice! We wish that for the cost to rent this house that it would have had at least one king sized bed, but we made the queen work. The TV in the upstairs living room never would work so that wasn't great at all being the separate living rooms for each family was one of the draws to the house. The bathroom door on the lower level sticks, and is hard to open and close but again, we worked around it. Overall it is a beautiful property, it just needs some minor upkeep.

Great House

This home was clean, decorated tastefully, and well-stocked. The furniture was pretty and comfortable. It was spacious and the outdoor spaces were an added bonus. I highly recommend staying at Dibbs on Holden.

Wonderful home!

First time staying in a canal home and it was a truly great experience! The home is beautiful with lots of space for everyone. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the canal. The under house seating is also nice when it’s a bit too windy on the upper porches. Beach access is a short walk right up the street, very convenient location directly across the road. Lots of little extras in the home such as books, games, smart TV with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and really comfy couches on both floor’s family rooms! Beds were nice and comfy as well with the added plus of a bathroom for each bedroom. A grill would be the only thing I’d suggest be added to make this house even better. Overall a really wonderful home!
