Wooden chalet adapted for people with disabilities, with ground-floor access:

Living room (sofa bed) with equipped kitchenette, 1 bedroom (1 double bed 140x190 cm), bedding not provided, shower room with walk-in shower, separate toilet.
Upstairs (accessible via a steep ladder): 1 bedroom (2 single beds 90x190 cm).

Large raised terrace with views of the goats. Nearby, a 5000 m² fishing pond (roach, carp, and pike) and swimming area (with a rowboat) with free, unsupervised access.
At the campsite: children's playground, table tennis, pétanque, badminton, and volleyball. Wi-Fi.
Shared washing machine access 30 meters away from April to the end of October.
Fitness trail in the national forest 1.5 km away.

Dogs (one only) must be kept on a leash on the campsite from the moment you leave the Tchanqué chalet; the dog walking path is 20 meters away.

Sheets and cleaning are mandatory for business clients. The Tchanqué chalet is a model of a fisherman's cabin on stilts from the Arcachon Basin. It is located at the far end of the Ecouves campsite, bordering the forest. Come and enjoy a unique experience in the heart of nature on an educational and therapeutic farm. You will share the space with goats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, and turkeys. Ideally located at the foot of the Écouves Forest, the largest forest in Normandy, and a stone's throw from a beautiful pond, Le Tchanqué offers an ideal location at the crossroads of hiking trails (GR22, Chemin de Saint Michel, GR36, and Véloscénie cycle route) and marked trail running paths, and just a few kilometers from Alençon.

Bread and pastries can be ordered from July 12th to August 17th for the year 2025.

All three have different backgrounds and skills (a nurse specializing in animal-assisted therapy, a socio-cultural educator, and a nature guide) and are committed to making your stay as pleasant as possible.
You can participate in paid activities (by reservation): animal feeding, immersive tours, becoming a zookeeper for a day, etc. Inquire when you book or upon arrival.
