Great house, perfect location. Very clean and well stocked. Nice bath towels and beach towels. Outside deck is relaxing. Loved it!

Great location!

Great location within walking distance to a beautiful and semi-private (lake) beach. We pulled our cart with chairs and cooler each day. Very pleasant and peaceful back deck to sit and read, bbq, play games, and bird watch. Super close to mashpee commons for food and shopping (and donuts!) Not too far to Falmouth center and ocean beaches. You will be sharing one bathroom but the additional outdoor shower is great!

Nice house, but needs AC

The house and property were pretty nice, but they need to add air conditioning. The house was very hot and humid during the period in July when we stayed there, and not even a fan in the house. They also need to provide access to the shed to use for bike storage.

Family vacation

My family of six stayed here for a week. It was our first time in the Mashpee area. Beautiful area. The house is just as described. Lots of room to move around. Backyard was very peaceful. We spent a lot of time outside on the deck and had a fire in the fire pit. Alexey and Anastasia are fantastic hosts. They supplied everything needed for our week. The outdoor shower is lovely. If I was to pick something that I thought needed improvement it might be having a second bathroom in the future. Otherwise we all managed with one bathroom. Thank you to our hosts. I would love to rent from you again. Melanie, Jamie, Lily, Matelynn, Josh and Nancy ❤️

Perfect small home for the family

This house was perfect for our purposes. Located in a quiet neighborhood between Ashumet and Johns Ponds on the Falmouth and Mashpee border, its great access to Falmouth, Mashpee, Woods Hole, Mashpee Commons and the Falmouth and Mashpee beaches. We had relatives close by and we were to able to travel back and forth easily on the back roads to the houses. The two bedroom on the main floor, one bath with a ginormous loft with a king size bed on the second floor had all the space and amenities needed for our family. There is a nice deck off the kitchen for morning coffee with the birds. Kitchen is well equipped. The three window air conditioners downstairs and a huge one up in the loft sufficiently kept us cool even in the unusually hot and humid week we were there. The hosts were helpful and keep a wonderful clean property. We recommend it highly! And if your a Barnstable Fair fan, the property is close to the fair!

Overall great stay! Alexey is very nice and responsive to messages; could use another bathroom

My family and I stayed at Alexey's property for a long weekend along with our dog. Overall we had a very nice experience. The house is very neat and clean, there are lots of amenities (e.g. smart TV, board games, playstation, coffee pot, fire pit, etc), and the location is fantastic (short walk to private lake/pond and short drive to beaches). There were, however, some things that could be improved on the property including: 1) only 1 bathroom (there is an outdoor shower in addition to the shower inside, but only one actual toilet); 2) not all of the rooms have blinds (the room in the front of the house, in particular, could use some room darkening curtains as the sun peered in every morning); 3) while the property is dog-friendly, I would not bring a dog again (neighbor's dogs are not friendly and bark constantly and neither the private lake/pond nor the beaches are dog-friendly). Would stay again but maybe with less people (due to 1 bathroom) and without my dog (for reasons mentioned above)!

Great place for a long weekend

5 of us stayed here comfortably for a long weekend for our first time on Cape Cod! The listing was a bit misleading as it seemed like the house was physically on the lake, but it is up the street. The owner was very accommodating, allowing us to check in early and dealing with some issues from the previous renters. Very responsive and a great place to stay with your group!
