About this property

Lakefront home, water-view porch

At Blue Jay, Green Lake feels close enough to be part of the room. Floor-to-ceiling windows line the open living and kitchen space, while the screened porch overlooks the water and the beach is only a few steps away.

Four upstairs bedrooms sleep eight guests: two queen rooms facing the water and two rooms with full beds. Every bedroom has blackout shades, and the fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer make a longer stay straightforward. All bedrooms require stairs; Chickadee next door is the better fit for guests who need a step-free stay.

Outside are a grill, fire pit and outdoor dining, with the beach shared only with Chickadee. Shared kayaks, paddleboards and a canoe are included. There are no televisions, but fast fiber Wi-Fi works throughout the home. Acadia and Bar Harbor are approximately 45 minutes away.

Lake stay near Acadia

Property clean and well equipped. Seemed larger than the quoted square feet. Nice to return from hiking to a place with a lake.

Super Stay

Absolutely lovely comfortable accommodations. We chose this location for a family ice-fishing trip when the grandkids were on winter break. The is easy access to the lake a a fantastic view from the cottage to see the traps (and kids playing on the ice). Would strongly recommend this to others considering a winter respite.

A WONDERFUL Place to Unwind

We absolutely loved staying in the house. Listening to the loons, our children playing with other kids nearby, going out in the boats, swimming in the lake, and just relaxing. So many wonderful memories from our stay here!

About the host

Host profile image
Green Lake holds a special place in our hearts. Growing up, we spent every summer here: swimming with cousins, learning to waterski, picking blueberries. Some of our fondest memories were made on this lake.

Our family has been part of the Green Lake community for over 100 years. When this property came available, just around the corner from our family cottage and previously owned by friends of our grandparents, we knew we had to have it. We spent three years renovating the three houses, creating spaces we hope will be enjoyed for generations to come.

We are glad to share this place with you. We hope you will explore Acadia National Park, Mount Desert Island and the Downeast region, and that Green Lake stays with you the way it has with us.

The Quinn Family - Michaela, Jack, Erin, Ariana and Alex
