Newly remodeled cottage at U.P. Sunrise Cottages resort has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths.
Fully equipped kitchen. Linens and towels. Central A/C. Fast Wi-Fi. Smart TV. Seasonal recreational activities include playground, aquapark, kayaks, SUPs, firepits, lawn games.
Requires a signed rental agreement and a $250 security deposit hold placed directly with property.
Sleeping Arrangements:
Master bedroom: Queen bed (master bath)
Bedroom 2: two twin beds
Bedroom 3: two twin beds
Bathrooms:
Full bath with tub/shower off master bedroom
3/4 bath with shower

Campfire wood, fishing dock, charcoal grill.
Shared guest laundry.
Snowmobile and ORV enthusiasts: Ride less than a mile to Trail 8. Trailer parking available.
We are about an hour drive from Munising and the Pictured Rocks boat tours, 35 minutes from Marquette, and about 10 minutes from Gwinn, where there is a full grocery, two dollar stores, and several restaurants.
Watch the sun come up with a warm cup of coffee, relax while the kids play at the beach, and take advantage of the areas many attractions and local restaurants! We want you to feel right at home and have an amazing family vacation with us!

Hi, we are the Martin family! In May 2021, we purchased the Northern Lights Lakeside Resort in Little Lake, Michigan, and are reopening the resort as the U.P. Sunrise Cottages.
We live with our three daughters and one superhero son in Gwinn, MI. We are not true born-and-raised Yoopers, but all four of our children are, and you can tell by the way the put on their swimsuits and go play in the snow when the sun comes out and it breaks 45 degrees in the spring. After spending 16 years working with teenagers in the local area, we decided our family was ready for a new adventure, so we purchased the Northern Lights resort from our friends, the Hipskys. The resort is in a beautiful location, with a beach and 300 feet of lakefront on Farmer Lake. Looking across the lake toward the east, we get some beautiful sunrises above the trees.
We are excited to be able to spend time at this gorgeous property, and look forward to sharing it with our guests! Whether you want to relax and enjoy the peaceful lakefront, or take advantage of the area’s many attractions, we are sure this spot is going to be wonderful for your family! We can’t wait to meet you!
