Adorable Little Spot!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the blue canoe, it really felt like home! We often walked into town, enjoyed the library and even weathered a pretty major storm surge in this cozy little cottage! All our needs were met, and the property manager was super responsive and helpful! The porch was a wonderful spot to take in the gorgeous weather and the interior of the cottage was so sweet and comfy. GREAT RENTAL!

Fall getaway

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for almost a week in mid-October 2014. The house was charming and comfortable. Bathroom off of the kitchen and 2 bedroos upstairs, so I you get up in the night that is a consideration. The kitchen had a farmhouse feel, stocked with many items you would need but not necessarily want to buy, like condiments etc. The yard is not fully fenced, if you have pets. But we were able to easily close off the porch for our greyhounds to enjoy the porch. Location is fantastic. Close enough to walk into town through the Campground, but definitely away from the tourists. Very quiet street this time of the year as almost all of the seasonal rentals had closed. We had a wonderful time, and I hope to go back again soon!

A good find

This cute cottage presents exactly like it appears in the pictures! Easy to walk to town and charming deck for great entertaining. This cottage is clean and well cared for with a few touches of modern. Perfect for 2 couples or a small family. Bed linens and towels have a little to be desired as do kitchen amenities (if you really use a kitchen). Owner easy to work with and responsive. Would I rent again? Absolutely!

beautiful canoe

  • 5 of 5

we had a wonderful stay at the blue canoe. walking distance to town thru the camp grounds made it so accessible yet we had the privacy of being "away" from oaks bluff center. i would definitely stay here again. only thing that would make it better is an outdoor shower

My husband and I spent the week of our anniversary on the Vinyard in this adorable house.

The Blue Canoe was the PERFECT getaway. The cottage had everything we could possibly want, great kitchen, wonderful oversized deck, everything we could have asked for. The cottage was close to town, water and many great walking destinations. We traveled the Island saw all the sights loved every minute of it. We would love to come back.

Quick, scenic walk or bike ride to the beach or town center. A delightful park with an expansive view over the harbor is just a few minute's walk from the house.
