Cute duplex unit at U.P. Sunrise Cottages resort has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath.

Fully equipped kitchen. Linens and towels. Fast Wi-Fi. Smart TV. Seasonal recreational activities include playground, aquapark, kayaks, SUPs, firepits, lawn games.

Requires a signed rental agreement and a $250 security deposit hold placed directly with property.

We are about an hour drive from Munising and the Pictured Rocks boat tours, 35 minutes from Marquette, and about 10 minutes from Gwinn, where there is a full grocery, two dollar stores, and several restaurants.

Watch the sun come up with a warm cup of coffee, relax while the kids play at the beach, and take advantage of the areas many attractions and local restaurants! We want you to feel right at home and have an amazing family vacation with us!

The place was SO clean. It was a perfect location for our U.P. adventures (and visiting my niece at NMU). The host treated us like family, while still giving us our space. We just wanted a home base for hiking and ATV riding, but ended up spending one of our days at the resort so my daughter could play in the lake. We visited carp river falls leaving right from the cabin via ATV. The area is surrounded by ATV/snowmobile trails (and the property has plenty of parking for trailers) The cabin had everything we needed and was immaculately clean. We will definitely return.

Great Vacation

What a wonderful place to enjoy a family vacation. From the second we pulled in we were welcomed by the owners Angie and Jeff. My daughter was so excited to play on the aquapark with all of the other kids staying there. We also enjoyed taking out the pontoon boat for an evening cruise on our last night. We loved UP Sunrise Cottages so much we are trying to plan another stay before the summer is over.

Kid-Friendly Cabin in the U.P.

Loved all the on-site amenities provided that gave our kids plenty of options from morning until night: Razr scooters, kayaks/canoes/paddleboards, an awesome AquaPark out in the "warmer than expected" lake, firepits (with firewood supplied). The cabin was no frills, but the kitchen had everything needed to cook meals. We also enjoyed daily excursions to nearby Marquette (25 minute drive)! The close proximity of the cabins means that you'll share the site with others. We had great fellow campers and there were other kids for ours to play with. The hosts are on-site often, super responsive and quick to help with suggestions (and even a guided mountain bike ride!).

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was comfortable and clean. Hosts were great, answered any concern promptly. Beautiful lake on site and the fall colors were beautiful! Great destination for young families, lots of places for little people to play. Our family of young adults enjoyed their stay, a short drive from Marquette. Thanks for everything!

Fantastic family-friendly resort in great location

Owners are very kind, friendly, and helpful. This is a great little resort that’s perfect with kids. Lots of games, basketball, swimming, kayaking, bonfires. The aqua park and paddleboat with slide were the best, then relaxing by the campfire in the evening. Also great location close to Marquette and Munising made it easy to go places. Highly recommend.

Family Resort

Nice small family resort located on a small spring fed lake. Cottages are well equipped but could use some updated appliances. Owners are very attentive and on sight most of the day.
