Every need was met

This is a really great place to stay. The owner thought of literally everything that a family could need - we really loved it and hope to come back.

A Great Spot

Beautiful home at the ideal location. The location is at an excellent lot to see the ocean/sunsets - stunning!

Relaxed and refreshed

We had a wonderful time, house was perfectly styled and organized with anything we needed. Location and view was on point. Will stay again!!!

Excellent location and perfectly equipped property

The right balance between good taste and practicality comes by not so often. Enjoyed the stay and would definitely go back.

Great vacation getaway

Awesome location and home! Great for family vacation! The home has two stories which are rented separately (each 3 bedrooms) but can be combined. We will be back for sure!

Outstanding Oak Island Get-a-way

This home was outstanding. The house was lovely and the views were great. The owner thought of everything and was super organized. Sitting out on the front porch enjoying views and eating meals was a delight. We would definitely come here again.

Sitting on the porch for meals and taking in the ocean view is one of the things our guests seem to all enjoy...and they also like taking in the summer concert series from the back porch...don't even need to leave the house to enjoy the summer concerts..although joining in on the dancing in front of the band is fun as well! Perfect choice

The location was perfect, the view amazing and home was beautiful. This was my 74 year old father in laws first beach experience and we could not have chosen a better place. We will definitely go back!!

Great location for a beach retreat

My family spent a long weekend at Steps Away Getaway at the end of the '22 beach season. The location (right across from the beach and also the community park) was fabulous ! The only two notable issues were getting into the property from the top deck (the lock needs to be replaced so the keyless entry will work) and the electric box tripping breakers a couple of times. The property manager was very attentive and took care of anything needed.
