Such a cute and cozy place to stay. Everything was clean and comfortable and our request for salt for the icy conditions outside were met immediately. We will be back to stay here!!

Thank you so much Margaret! We hope to have you back soon!
Our overall stay was very comfortable and fun. This A frame cabin is cute on the inside. We loved that there was an area outside to be able to sit and have a bonfire. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay,
We enjoyed our stay at Erik’s ski chalet. The house was clean and inviting. The beds were a pleasant surprise. They were very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
Property was newly remodeled & comfortable. Host was very responsive. Centrally located within 30 minutes drive for the various activities our group needed. Surprisingly good dinner choices in the area.
Everything was clean which trumps all the minor things that didn't work for us. The code didn't work to get into property but Erik answered right away and gave me an emergency code. The oven didn't work for us. The TV didn't work either. But we still had a nice time. Thank you!
Our stay overall was pleasant. It was clean and comfortable and our family had a good time. We ran into check in issues, in that the internet was down, so the electric door lock code did not work. Unfortunately our cell service provider (Verizon) had no service in or around the property, so we had to drive down to the chalet, get on their Wi-Fi in order to contact the property owner to get a key code that would let us in. Later on we found out the internet was down for our whole stay, which meant monTV service, ni ability to work remotely or ability for our kids to get their homework done. In essence we were “disconnected.” We still had fun and made several trips into town to hang out at the local bar.
The first time in several years that we have had the opportunity to vacation with our daughter & her family. Twin Peaks provided bedrooms & living area for all 7 of us to be together yet have our own space. The kitchen area is a bit tight but there is everything you need to make meals. The patio areas provide great space for morning coffee and grilling dinner. Beds are comfy & towels abundant. Definitely helpful to have laundry available. Weber Lake was perfect for kayaking with the kids. They enjoyed swimming there & at the resorts pool. It was somewhat confusing that all of the signs at the Chalet said the pool was closed but one door was open & we did find one individual who provided instruction on pool use. The kids were disappointed in the pool hours of 9-4. It would have been nice to use the pool & hot tub after a long day of hiking. There is a $5. per person per day fee for the pool. There are many options for hiking and many have water falls. Twin Peaks @ Whitecap Mtn Resort is great for families who love to explore the out of doors!
We rented both cabins for a family reunion in Copper falls, Mellen, WI. in July
The cabins are very nice, and are newly updated. having the shared deck with the fireplace was a bonus. We throuly enjoyed the evenings gathered around despite the misqutos. We brought a fogger which helped a lot.
the following is some additional information for future rentals and not at all meant as negative review.
These units are 3 stories (they are basically the same) top floor has one room loft with queen bed. (my cousin did say the bed in cabin 2 is little lopsided). 2nd floor is one bedroom with queen bed, full bathroom, kitchen & living area with balcony. 1st floor is one bedroom with queen bed 2nd bedroom with bunk beds and full bathroom with tub.
the kitchen is stocked but if you will be cooking large meals for large number you may want to bring supplies like large pans and bowls etc. also no electric appliances like hand mixer. I asked Erik ahead of time so we were prepared.
Like anywhere cooling off the 3rd floor makes the 1st floor very cold, put the people that can take the cold on the first floor. There are extra blankets available.
If you are traveling during the winter we think you will need four wheel drive.
the listing shows pool and hot tub pictures, these are apparently available at the ski lodge but not part of the package,
Google maps does not find the location but apple map does with no issues.
We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent them again
Smaller than imagined but cozy. Very nicely redone house. Clean and stocked with everything needed. Skied one day and were housebound the next due to ice storm. Had a great time with family and friends. Listing shows it sleeps 10, but 10 adults would be tight. Highly recommend.
Was the perfect place to enjoy Whitecap Mountain. Easy access to awesome skiing and a great place to cook a meal, play games, and enjoy each other’s company. Thank you!
Wanted a place that had space for my immediate family and a couple cousins/ girlfriends. We had ages 17-24 and then my husband and I. Though the kitchen and gathering area were pretty cozy we all found space. The bedroom configurations fit our family perfectly! The use of space in an A frame was impressive It was a very short walk/ski to the hill. Racks to store skis right outside and many hooks for all the gear just inside the door. The house is on a steep hill and our side had minimal parking. It worked out for the most part since two of our kids vehicles couldn’t make it up the hill - so parked at the lodge. Didn’t need a car - so not an issue. The fridge is pretty small - there was a second mini fridge on the lower level - could still be a little tight in warm weather. Outdoor firepit was really nice and so great that the neighbors got it going both nights. The host was very nice and quickly responded to my questions. I would definitely stay here again.
Very close to ski hill! Hang out area is a bit tight for 10-12 and downstairs rooms a bit chilly. Kitchen is tight too but we didn't mind at all. Cute place overall!
We spent a weekend here for a few days away from daily life. Great space - the owner has clearly upgraded and invested in the cabin! We loved the balcony for morning coffee and the fire pit in the evenings. Location is greatly located near a number of outdoor activities and we got out to enjoy the fall colors!
