Thank you for your feedback on our property. We are sorry to hear that the lake had swimmer's itch. That can be such and uncomfortable nuisance. In the future, we would like to let you know that we do have towels available for rent at a nominal fee. We don't usually provide them because we have to take them off site to launder and that makes turnover time difficult. We hope you have a great rest of your year!

Hi Brian, I want to first apologize for the communication issue. We actually did send out information several days prior to your arrival, but unfortunately, we mis-typed your email address and didn't catch it. Our office manager had a family emergency that took her unexpectedly out of the office and kept her out of the office for the week leading up to your stay, so while she tried to keep tabs on the emails remotely, she missed the one sent to you that bounced back. Generally, we see guests reaching out several days prior if they haven't received their check in instructions so when nothing popped into our inbox from you we simply didn't realize you hadn't received them. So very sorry for that. We can understand your confusion about the towels, but we are simply not able to provide them. Laundering of bed linens has to take place on site during the clean and we don't have enough time to also launder & dry towels to accommodate 14 guests. Again, our apologies for the communication error. I can promise you we are normally very prompt with our replies and thorough in our communication. The nature of the emergency that kept our reservations manager out of the office was significant and we feel badly that it resulted in a stressful travel day for you.

Hi Carrie, We are so glad you had an enjoyable vacation at our Silver Peak Retreat. We are working hard to address the few suggestions you had regarding the stocking of the kitchen items (we think corkscrews are very important as well). We agree that water shoes would be a good thing for guests to bring, and will suggest it going forward so that people can be prepared. We apologize for the minor inconvenience of having to check in at our office. This is a brand new listing this year so owners feel a bit more comfortable knowing that we meet each guest personally. (We promise it isn't a strategic way to get your kids to spend your money at our Go Kart track, though that gave us a belly laugh!)
