Historic Home *reWine Mission* Walk Downtown: Coffee, Shop, Dine, Wines, Brews

Welcome to 'reWine Mission'
Beautifully remodeled historic 1920s Mission Revival single story home just blocks from Historic downtown Lompoc. A short walk takes you to shops, coffee bars, wineries, breweries, restaurants and community festivals. And nearby, a 5 minute drive takes you to the famous Wine Ghetto with over 20 wineries within 1 square block. Drive a few minutes outside of town and find numerous Vineyard Estates.

At home, relax in the comfy living room with full entertainment system with video streaming service, enjoy your company with a game of Backgammon or Chess, or create in the cook's kitchen while enjoying your stay in the adjoining dining and entertainment areas and spacious redwood deck.

Our four guest rooms are the:
- Poppy Room with Queen Bed, TV, Closet, Blackout Shades;
- The Green Room enjoy two twin beds, closet, blackout shades;
- in the Master Suite spaciously relax in the King Bed, Private Bath, TV, Blackout Shades, Large Closet; and last,
- The secluded French Room with Queen Bed, Private Bath, Closet and Blackout Shades.

reWine Mission is equipped with Alexa. In the kitchen and each of the four bedrooms there is an Echo Dot. The thermostat and many light switches are also Alexa enabled. If you prefer to not have Alexa feel free to unplug them.

With mild coastal evenings, move the festivities outside where you can BBQ and sip wine on the spacious deck.

Very nice home. Everything was ready for us and the host was very accomidating. Great location, close to downtown with dining entertainment. Spent most of our time with friends but surrounding area has lots to do.

This is my second time staying here and we love this house. Something for everyone and the rooms are very comfortable. Last minute I requested an early check in and it was granted within minutes. Very accommodating host!

Great Place

A fun weekend stay in Lompoc.

Family gathered for a weekend celebration and had a most enjoyable stay. The home was comfortable and adequate for our needs; 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. Lompoc is in the heart of the Santa Rita Hills wine region which we thoroughly enjoyed .

Perfect for multiple adult “children”

Your home is beautiful and nicely located near downtown. I’m a Lompoc native and remember this house from when I was in Middle School. What a fun property! The guest book is a wonderful touch and the house guide book made staying there easy. Thank you so much!

Cozy place!

We had a great time in Lompoc and this rental was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Dan was really responsive and the place was well equipped. There are several things to do in the surrounding area, including wine tasting, butterfly groves, beaches, and much more

Nice House

We had a lovely stay. This house can easily host 3 adult couples. Great use of space. It had all the cooking equipment needed. Can’t wait to see the new landscaping they say is going in! Location was great for wine tasting, not far from any of the areas.

Surfing Trip

This house was perfect for our family of five! The kitchen was well-eqipped and plenty of sleeping space! The bathrooms were all very nice and stocked with plenty of shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. We were only a short drive away from several great surfing spots and close to seeing a Space X launch (unfortunately it was postponed until after our departure). There was a variety of restaurants and Walmart close-by as well! I would highly recommend this home!

I am staying here again!

My son got married and we had people come from all over the country. It was so spacious, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen...oh the kitchen! All the commodities and plenty of dishes, pots/pans, glassware. I return to lompoc at least once every 6 weeks and I hope to stay here everytime!

Perfect house for a larger group near the Santa Rita wine region

Our stay at this house was super comfortable. The beds are comfortable and plenty of large bathrooms for the group. We loved that all the rooms were on one level. Parking was easy, the drive to the wine region is scenic, and the deck with bbq grill was the cherry on top. Dan and Jane were lovely hosts who left us wine region coupons, snacks, and more than enough blankets and towels. They were easy to reach and very communicative. Would highly recommend for groups looking to explore the Santa Rita/Santa Ynez wine region and in need of a comfortable stay.

Lovely vacation stay

Several family members converged for an impromptu reunion with local family. The property was really convenient, clean, spacious and with lots of tech benefits. The hosts provided a lovely manual with suggestions for local eateries and grocery shopping that were very useful. All the spaces were airy and well decorated. The kitchen was a delight, lots of appliances and cooking equipment. One question was quickly answered via text with the host. I cannot recommend this property highly enough, it was just great!

Great location

My sisters and cousin visit our aunt in Lompoc and for the past two years we have been extremely happy with this house and the location. We have walked to the nearby park and this year we walked downtown to a street fair with live music. The house has plenty of room and works very well for us. We cooked several meals there. The owner is very responsive and communicates details in a timely manner. We hope to return next year to this same house. Thank you!

Family Reunion

We were in Lompoc for a family reunion. The size of this house was perfect - 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms is always good when traveling with family. The location was great - I could walk to my sister's house, walk to get donuts for breakfast, and everything was only about a ten minute drive away. The kitchen was fully loaded so no issues cooking a big breakfast before we headed out for the day. My only complaint would be the outside space. The deck furniture was falling apart and not comfortable for hanging out. And the grass was so tall my three year old niece couldn't play in it. If they cleaned up the outside, made it comfortable for extended living space this place would be a solid ten. That said, inside worked great for us and the owners were very responsive. I would rent again.

Very nice inside, outside not so much

When we pulled into the driveway, we were not so sure about the place. The front yard and driveway are weeds, dirt and gravel. The window coverings really need to be updated as from the outside, all you see are plastic window blinds that are not in good shape and do not give a good first impression. Additionally, from the outside, the house does not give the impression that it is spacious and contains four bedrooms, but as we found out, looks can be deceiving as once we entered the house, we found it to be as spacious as described on the website. The backyard is nothing but weeds and dirt, no grass as is depicted in the backyard photo. However, with all that said, the inside has been renovated and is pretty great. New kitchen and all bathrooms fully renovated. No negative comments about the inside. Really enjoyed our stay there and Dan, one of the hosts, was very quick to respond to our questions. He gave us a lot of good recommendations for food and drink. The only real drawback to the house is the lack of landscaping in front and back and the current window blinds, which are sorely in need of updating. My personal favorite thing in the house was the use of Alexa for music, and the coffee pot which has a dual function. It is a drip coffee machine as well as a keurig type single cup coffee pod pot. Loved the dual function! Would we stay there again? Yes!

Wonderful Inside

Fantastic place, even though it doesn’t look like much on the outside. The kitchen is great and well-equipped. The beds are spectacularly soft. There’s a turntable with lots of good vinyl to play. The sound system is really excellent too! My kids loved the game shelves and the chess/backgammon table was fun. The bottle of wine was a nice touch and appreciated. Loved that there were two breweries within walking distance. Plus some coffee and donut shops.

As Advertised

Renovations well done, everything pretty much as advertised. Big fenced in back yard a plus, though some landscaping was in order throughout the property. TV operation a problem, but my IT son bought a gizmo that made it work well. If we return to Lompoc we would not hesitate to stay at this property.
