The Plantation House is located at 105 Wall Street, Manson WA, in the private community of Mill Bay Beach with your own private dock and quaint community beach just a short walk from the house. This home rents for $3750.00 a week in the peak summer a great value!
Please check the availablity calendar before inquiring. We cannot satisfy parties larger than 12. We cannot accomodate weddings. We do not rent memorial day or labor day weekends. We are not right on the water, we are in a waterfront community. It's just a short walk down to the secluded beach and dock. We do not accommodate any pets.
This home is over 3200 sq’ indoors and over 2500 sq’ outdoors! The upper level has 5 sets of French doors leading to a 1200 sq’ deck with 180 degree views of the lake.
Completed in late June of 2007 this home features a state of the art sound system throughout. Enjoy the music from the deck, patio and even adjust the controls from the master suite's jetted tub!

We bought this home because of the neighborhood with its private access, dock and beach along with cul de sacs for the kids to ride bikes and play. A uniqe and flat development with nice community features and only 19 homes in total ...very private and relaxing.
Has one of the best views from Stormy mountain to Bear Mountain golf course to the wonderful colors of the vineyards. We have a flat level beach with steps that walk in to the water that is full of soft sand. The dock is new with all trex and will allow for a 26' boat.
This property is beautiful, yet has many issues that most vrbo's do not have. Anytime you see "owner managed " you take on risk. Dealing directly with the owner rather than professional property managers is not recommended. There are ongoing issues with the neighbors/HOA with all the "rules" stated in welcome book rather than contract (one may not rent if these were stated up front) jeopardizing your deposit and rights. I read all reviews prior to booking and was hopeful the window covering issue was resolved as owner stated! They were not. Cheap or non existent curtains allowed no privacy or blocking of morning sun. Lastly, the garbage cans were almost full upon arrival. With 12 in the party, it wasn't long before garbage bags piled up outside the full cans. This is an annual tradition, but no repeats here!!
Our second stay here. Good memories made. Great location; close to lake and grocery, safe neighborhood to ride bikes and play outside.
We had a nice time at this home and really enjoyed the outdoor living space! We spent every evening out on the deck enjoying the view of the lake! The neighborhood is quiet, however the house does back up to the main highway into Manson, so we did hear some traffic. The only two things that were disappointing were the mattresses (ikea?) which were really uncomfortable and the lack of blinds or room darkening shades in the bedrooms....let's just say everyone woke up with the sun and stiff backs! Other than that, everything worked great, there is plenty of space for extra vehicles and a nice family/game room downstairs for the kids. You won't be disappointed with this house!
We brought our four teenagers and each of them brought a friend. The house easily accomodated all 10 of us, and if you needed to escape for some quiet time, you could! As the kids slept in, we were able to sit on the deck with our coffee every morning looking out at the lake. It was beautiful and extremely peaceful! The chaos then began with activities on the lake. Once back at the house, the kids played board games, watched videos, played croquet, or went back down to the lake to cool off, while we ended our day with a glass of wine on the deck. It's a beautiful home, with all of the amenities, and we would highly recommend staying at The Plantation House!
Beautiful property just a 2 minute walk to the lake. Wrap around deck was great in the mornings and evenings to relax and take in the lake and mountain views. Great for large families or multiple family gatherings. Just 2 miles from Manson and one block from the casino and Lake Chelan winery. Private dock was convienant for mooring our boat during the stay. Very roomy and open floor plan. Owners were pleasant and helpful.
Just spent the weekend away at The Plantation House and had a great time! It had a gorgeous view and was in a great location. We celebrated the weekend with a wine tour and dinner out on the deck! Thanks so much to the Plantation House for sharing their lovely home with us!

With over 300 days of sunshine, you're almost guaranteed for a beautiful vacation. The fresh water of the 55 mile lake is noted the 'most beautiful lake in the world' by not only a local author, but anyone who's viewed this historical body of water.
Aside from water activities and fishing, the Chelan Valley is famous for hiking and bird watching.
Visit the small town of Steheikin at the top of the lake, not available by car, but by boat and float plane only.
Indulge in the numerous wineries, many estate grown labels who recently earned the area proud AVA distinction.
Wine tours are available, and most wineries have an atmosphere that welcomes families.
Looking for shopping? Downtown Chelan boast numerous mom and pop shops featuring clothes, home décor, kitchen supplies, hardware, seasonal fun necessities and our favorites- Riverwalk Books and Bear Foods.
You can cook in our fully equipped kitchen, but why, when there are so many great restaurants in the area. All are affordable, family friendly and delicious.
