Una cabaña rústica de temporada que era una cabaña de caza de principios de 1900 rodeada de bosques y vistas al lago.
Hay múltiples ventanas y puertas de vidrio que te dan la sensación de que eres uno con tu entorno.

Hay un segundo porche para dormir para aquellos que quieren estar "en pleine air" día y noche. Hay una playa de más de 385 pies que se comparte con Lake House, pero nadie más. No hay vecinos al norte y solo uno al sur de la playa.

Hay 2 canoas, 2 kayaks, 1 bote de remos, hamaca, sillas de jardín, fogata y muelle. Puede pescar en el muelle, pero necesita una licencia de pesca.

My boyfriend and I had such an amazing time here with our puppy!! The property is absolutely beautiful with so many things to do!! The cottage was super clean! The porch and the balcony has beautiful views!! A super cool beachfront with provided 2 kayaks, 2 canoes, a paddle board and a peddle boat along with many other fun flotations in the boathouse they provide life vests as well!!!Will definitely be coming back!!

Beautiful setting, set away from other houses, with gorgeous views across the lake. Location just a 10 min drive from Watkins Glen was perfect. The 2 porches were wonderful-- it felt like sitting in a tree house-- and the waterfront area is spacious and with all the lake "toys" you could want. Bedroom was spotless, the mattress comfortable. Kitchen, though small, is really well stocked. We were delighted to find a coffee grinder and a quality drip coffee maker there!! Perfect for a quiet, regenerative getaway.

Michelle was very accessible and did her best to ensure that things were clear. I'm going to say that we were extremely disappointed by one aspect about having rented this property. You have no privacy whatsoever. What do I mean? Well, although the cottage itself is isolated, the beach is shared with a larger house about 1/2 mile up the road. The folks who are renting there (up to 18-20) need to essentially walk through your space in order to get to the beach front. One of the best parts of the cottage was enjoying the porch off the back overlooking the water, There were constantly people going by, stopping to say hello to our dog and what have you. We never knew when someone was coming or going, and I mean they were literally a couple of feet from where we'd be sitting. Also several of the rooms in the house had no curtains or shades and much of the walk down the hill would allow people to see inside the house at night and first thing in the morning. So, calling it secluded is a bit deceitful in my opinion. This might not matter to some, but it did matter to us. Fortunately, the people that were staying in the other house were pretty gracious, and we did interact with them a bit from time to time. Certainly wasn't their fault, but it was awkward and I think this should be more clear in the advertisement for the property. We would not have stayed if we'd known just how invasive this would be. Outside of that, the place was clean, the kitchen sufficient tools.

I am sorry you were so distressed by the path to the beach going by the cottage. We now have a tram that the guests from the other house can use. It was in place when you stayed and if you had told me of your concern I would have directed them to the tram. The tram can also be used by guests in the cottage who do not/cannot use the steps to the beach. In 30 years of owning the cottage I have only one other party complain about not having shades/curtains in the back bedrooms. I liked the openess and given the angle of the windows did not think that anyone could look in. With your comment in mind by 2027 I will have some covering for the windows that will give the option of covering the windows. Again I am sorry you did not mention this. I would have addressed this during your stay.

We had a great stay in the cottage. The views were beautiful and the location was close to Watkins Glen and wineries while still feeling quite and secluded. Michele was very communicative. She let us know the cabin didnt have central heat but the heaters she provided kept us warm. My husband, our dog and I had a wonderful time.

Loved how secluded it was. Loved the rustic in the woods stay. Sitting on the decks just listening to the waves and nature. There was only a few boats to go bye the whole time we were ther so we didn't have any noise.

Incredible views of the lake. Comfortable beds. Check in was easy. Kitchen was basic but had what we needed. Decks were a great hangout place to enjoy the view. Many stairs to the dock but worth it! Enjoyed the canoes and kayaks and swimming.

Cute Little Cabin

Great weekend retreat. We loved the secluded area, and the lake access was great! The stairs to the lake are very long, however we didn't mind it too much. Our dogs loved the place. I would consider renting the cabin again.

Loved the cottage and location. Bring your all wheel drive vehicle.

The location is desolate enough for us, but still convenient to Watkins Glen. I’m glad we brought the Jeep and not the MINI. Overall, we had a very good experience with the rental process and our stay.

Great stay at a beautiful house

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The house is very comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The lake views were amazing. The beach was gorgeous. We got to use the canoes and the kayaks. We visited nearby Watkins Glen and some local wineries and farms. Definitely an unforgettable stay!

The property is tucked away and nestled directly on the lake which was the selling point for us. Every evening we sat on the dock and enjoyed the view. There are so many things to do within minutes of the property.

Cabin puts you in close proximity to many great places. Please be sure you know what you are renting before you book. If you want seclusion in the forests hillside then this is for you.

Great Vacation Cabin

Great location-near Watkins Glen and wineries. The hill and stairs to lake was no joke, but we didn't mind the short walk. Tons of privacy, great views on both levels. Home was fully equipped both indoors and out. Was clean and in generally great shape. We enjoyed our stay.

I moved to the area in1987 after growing up in the inner city. I fell in love with the quiet and beauty of Seneca Lake. The tranquility revives me within minutes of being on the lake. I don't get to the Lake as often as I would like but it gives me great pleasure to share the experience with others.

There are minimal modern conveniences and distractions in the cottage but instead, beautiful surroundings and wildlife. If this is what you are looking for, this is the place for you.

Privacy, nature, wonderful sunrise and view . Beach has a dock and extensive seating w/ shaded area. Canoes, kayaks and paddle boat available for guests. Great for swimming and fishing.
