House was immaculate and well appointed. Great, quiet and walkable neighborhood. Large private backyard with a covered patio. Definitely would rent this home again.Shelly a very friendly and attentive host.
This was our first experience with VRBO. I can’t imagine a better place to stay or better hosts than Shelly and Andy. The well stocked, gourmet kitchen was a joy to cook in. The house was beautifully furnished in a style appropriate to the southwest and included local artwork. We also spent every morning and evening out in the courtyard. Pure relaxation!
The house was just as advertised, clean, functional and well decorated. The owners were very cordial and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The air conditioner went out as we were getting ready to attend a wedding (on the hottest day of the year) and they were able to get it repaired in less than two hours. That is good service.
I enjoyed staying here, I love to walk in the mornings and there are lots of great walking paths. Civano Nursery is close and the neighborhood is quiet. Comfortable bed. Nice back patio to enjoy a bbq in the evening and morning coffee/breakfast. Pool is not heated FYI. I would definitely enjoy staying here again and highly recommend this home.
We had a wonderful time at this fabulous little house in Civano. The neighborhood is very pretty and quiet. The interior well maintained, well equipped, and comfortable. What made this place extra special is the effort the owners take to stock it with all the necessities of home. No need to spend the first few hours of your vacation for a run to the supermarket to get some coffee, trash bags, toilet paper, etc.
Shelly and Andy are wonderful hosts, very responsive and nice to deal with.
Andy and Shelly have lived in Arizona for over 20 years. We raised two children in Phoenix who attended Arizona State University. We moved to Civano in 2010 to enjoy a quieter lifestyle. Andy is an retired Engineer for a local firm and Shelly works remotely from home for a fresh Potato Grower & Shipper. We live in Civano, and the neighborhood is our point of refuge each day. We launched our first Civano Southwest Charmer VRBO #818011 in 2016 and we have enjoyed the experience so much that we are going forward with our fifth house! We have enjoyed hosting our guests from all over the United States and sharing our Civano experience with them. Our goal is to exceed your expectations and make your Tucson visit the best ever!
Why they chose this property
When the John McNair Home became available in January, 2021, I knew I had to add it to our VRBO family of homes and casitas. I was pleasantly surprised when I first toured the home. Unique in its designer southwest décor, this single-story home is rich in southwest architecture - from eight 18-inch ceiling Viga beams, a wrap-around porch, a secluded courtyard, a custom beehive fireplace, to stained concrete floors. You will feel cool, comfortable and PRIVATE. We hope you enjoy the home as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
