Beautiful apartment - agency scammed us for our deposit
DO NOT BOOK - SEE BELOW.
This is an immaculate and spacious two-story luxury apartment in the center of Metz with two bedrooms suitable for two couples or a family.
Unfortunately several problems with the agency, Rock in Share, currently merit a one-star review. Problems with the check-in process meant we were never given a house guide or the access codes to the property. The agency did not answer our phone call before their stated closing time and only got in touch with us the following day, when we would have already booked into another hotel, but by chance we were able to contact the owner who was very accommodating and walked us through the entry process.
The real problems began after check-out, where the agency has withheld our full 600 Euro deposit, blaming us for damage we did not cause to the flat and refusing to provide evidence to support their claim. We are contesting this charge and have found another Google review of same agency where another person's deposit was held in full for damage they did not cause. DO NOT BOOK THIS until the problem with the agency has been resolved, or you will likely lose some or all of your deposit.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement très spacieux, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et très bien placé au centre de Metz et, à proximité de la gare. Trés luxueux et confortable et très bien équipé, je recommande vivement cet appartement.
