We needed a place to stay and to host a family brunch and the Buckhead Battle House was a great spot for that. Ryan was a very communicative and helpful host. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable and the multiple bright gathering spots were appreciated. Paperwork in the house mentions that the forest location means bugs and leaf litter are inevitable and we did encounter both. Overall it was a positive VRBO experience.
We were a family of four visiting Atlanta for Spring Break. This is a perfect location next to I-75 for exploring Atlanta. Home was expansive to allow everyone their space, rooms large with a sitting area, and the family room was perfect for relaxing at night. We cooked meals everyday and the kitchen was well stocked. We also did several loads of laundry. The neighborhood/area is absolutely gorgeous. All of us went on several walks enjoying the tree lined streets and stunning homes. Nearby Chastain Park was great for walking and running. Ryan was very responsive to all my messages and answered all my questions quickly.
House is amazing! Spacious and plenty of room. Kitchen had most things; did not have a dish sponge just a rag and could only find one kitchen towel, could not locate oven mitts. Bathrooms were clean however limited on wash cloths. Host ordered some more but did not arrive on time. Fire pit had not been cleaned in some time so we cleaned it out. Did not use the pool or hot tub so cannot comment. The house overall is amazing! Plenty of space.
Spacious, clean, and quiet. It was everything you could ask for in a vacation rental. All appliances from the showers to the kitchen were outfitted with the newest material. There was plenty of room for our entire group of 6 to hang out and watch TV.Overall, just a great place to stay if you are visiting ATL. We were there for a Braves game and the stadium is 10 minutes away. The house is also close to other stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.
7 of us stayed here for a weekend of concerts. Great location and well equipped home for us to stay.

It was a great weekend and we heard it was a great concert from our friend who also attended. Such a pleasure to have you all, Karl. Can't wait to have you again for the next tour!
We stayed here and hosted my sisters baby shower. The property was exactly as pictured. There was a large door right off the kitchen that walked straight out onto the deck area which was perfect for an event. The backyard was beautiful with large azalea bushes that were in full bloom which made for a beautiful backdrop. The beds and couches were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Check in and out was a breeze. Would absolutely stay here again.
The house is in a great neighborhood and has a lot of privacy. Our only knock was the pool could have been cleaner, but overall it was a great experience.

It was great to have you and thanks for being excellent guests!
We have been working with our pool company who professionally cleans it each week to ensure the pool is maintained at the highest levels of cleanliness. We apologize for the debris in the pool and the pool being amongst the forest invariably has leaves falling on the cover and can enter when cover is opened.
We will be looking at how we can better prepare guests on the best way for mitigating debris entering when the cover is opened. Thanks for flagging this and we greatly appreciate your feedback!

Our stay at Ryan’s property was fantastic! The house was impeccably clean and had a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The living area was spacious, perfect for our Halloween gathering.
The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. We loved the outdoor space—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to unwind!
Wonderful large comfortable home, perfect for a large group of friends to use as a home base for an Atlanta vacation. Host was very responsive. We really loved the back deck surrounded by tall trees and the convenient location.
We loved our stay at this gorgeous home in Buckhead! It felt very peaceful and secluded, but was super close to downtown ATL. Ryan was very helpful and responsive as a host. Would absolutely recommend for a girls' weekend getaway!

This MCM jewel was a great staycation for my teens and I. My daughter wants to study architecture and is smitten with Mid century modern design. Lots of nice touches, beautifully remodeled

It was all good, there were some ants and bugs but not terrible. We lost power almost all day Saturday due to the storm

It was a pleasure to have you and even during the difficult circumstances of hurricane Helene. We thank you for taking such good care of our home, especially when the weather was some of the worst we have ever seen in our 30 years in the Atlanta area.
We have also followed up with our pest control service and they have agreed to double their efforts to ensure any pests are more carefully addressed.
We hope to have you again and will be sending the best vibes for better weather!
We had a vacation for 2 families (4 adults, 5 kids) and enjoyed our stay so much at this spacious, lovely home. Plenty of room to let the kids have a movie night, while the adults played games. Very centrally located to Atlanta attractions. The kids loved the hot tub, the pool was a little chilly for February. I'd recommend a stay!

About the host
Hosted by Ryan Greenburg
A Georgia native who has a passion for traveling the world and collecting wonders from all across the globe. I’ve had the pleasure of staying in other BnBs on these travels and am thrilled to share my home with you!
Why they chose this property
This home is a one-of-a-kind mid-century gem that I fell in love with. This style is rare here and yet the home is a reflection of the southern interpretation of the period.
From the massive vaulted ceilings to the beautiful exposed beams, to the skylights and massive windows, one can enjoy the protection in this sanctuary while communing with nature in a unique harmony. Additionally, the home has a gallery like energy that is a perfect showcase for unique original and number print art from a variety of artists. It’s important for me to see how the architecture and the art interact and complement each other becoming themselves a unified piece of art.
What makes this property unique
Inside you’ll see two large fireplaces and 20ft+ ceilings of aged timber. Additionally, the home still has the original terrazzo floors in tact to the delight of any MCM aficionado.
Much of the home has been carefully restored and updated to maintain the charm of a cherished era while providing the comforts of a modern home.
You’ll also enjoy a full smart home suite of products to allowing intelligently control with the assistant, Nest-Yale locks for convenient entry, temperature control and beyond.
Additionally, the home has been outfitted to provide both ample secluded and co-op work spaces for easy collaboration or quiet zoom meetings.
On the large lot you are welcome to explore the forests in the rear and the stream that courses through our neighborhood.
In the back patio area, you’ll find an ‘endless pool’ which has two sides: one which generates resistance for swimming and water exercise and another which is a hot tub.
