A cozy cabin feeling in Midtown. Well stocked kitchen. Green fenced back yard and ample driveway parking. Close to everything. 5 min from airport. 2 min from VA Hospital and midtown shops. 5 min from Renown Hospital and Walmart. 7 min from UNR, downtown, Winco, Sprouts, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods.
The living room sets the cabin tone with glazed knotty pine walls and ceiling and a brick fireplace. Newly remodeled with crisp white trim and baseboards.
The couch is a hide a bed which will sleep 2 people.
We have a swamp cooler and 2 bedroom air conditioners in the summer. The back yard is covered in green grass and semi shaded with a large tree in front. Yard is fenced.
We own an air BnB next door in case you have need for a second space for traveling friends/family. Look it up as “Stay at home Reno”.
You have access to the entire house and front yard, most of the backyard including a covered patio room with rattan couches. You also have access to driveway, parking for 4 cars (2 deep and 2 wide).
We live next door so if there’s anything you need we can attend quickly. Interaction is up to you- we will give you your space but always happy to have a friendly conversation or give recommendations. Occasionally we may need to do yard work or other repairs outside. If this is a problem please let us know. We do not want to disturb you. If any repairs are urgently needed inside, we will communicate and do our best to minimize disturbing your stay.
This is a quiet and safe neighborhood close to the airport and midtown Reno with a park at the end of the block. (Park has open dog park, great playground, tennis courts) Easy to get anywhere.
My house is 3 blocks from a main road, Kietske Lane. When you are heading out, if your GPS tells you to head north, make a right on Taylor, and then make a left on Kietske, since I think that is a very dangerous intersection, I recommend that you go south from the house, make a left on Bresson, a right on Cordone and a left on Vassar St. Then make your left on Kietske at the light. Also remember that when Nevada says 15 mph in a school zone, they mean it and you will get ticketed. Not worth it, so go slow.

What a comfortable stay for us while in Reno, celebrating graduation *and* able to bring our dogs. The home was cozy, secure, and comfortable beyond my expectations.
The cabin was as expected and our host was incredibly kind and accommodating. She checked in with us and brought our kids some sleds. The constructive feedback I would share is that the dishes in the cupboard were sticky so we had to re-wash everything and three out of the four shampoo bottles in the shower were empty. But, we had such a positive experience otherwise, we were completely willing to overlook those details. We look forward to returning in the future.

Clean older house in a quiet neighborhood. Close to all the action, but just far enough from it. Our pup loved the huge dog friendly park that was just down the street.
Everything was as described. Perfect for 1-4 people. Beds comfortable, nice kitchen and bathroom. Small TV but included Roku. Used the backyard for batting practice.
So awesome! Everything was clean and comfortable. Host provided soaps, as well as kitchen utensils. Even had a toaster and coffee maker. This little cabin was extremely cozy and perfect for a getaway. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! This kitty hanging out outside was also warm and welcoming

Thank you for your kind review. We try to make the experience staying with us as close to your own home as possible and since we know people often forget common toiletry items we supply backups. Please come back!
We were driving thru with our dogs and needed a place to stay overnight that was safe. Nice cute cabin-like setting was just perfect for us a dogs. Both the front and backyards were safe for dogs to run around.
The house was very clean and relaxing and the bed was A in comfort My dogs enjoyed the yard and the park down the streetThe neighborhood was quiet and safeThe host was very friendly
Nicely renovated older home in close-in quiet neighborhood. Easy access to airport, museums, and river walk. Immediate response from host when I had a TV question. So much more comfortable than a hotel room!
Our family organized a team to do the race. This spot was our “home base”. We enjoyed the flex to have our dogs with us, convenient location, and comfortable beds
