The kitchen was recently renovated as well windows, dock and other improvements. Improvements have continued after photos were taken. Updated photos and video to come soon. An updated second dock and floating island is another update we have made to the property. We continuously look to make improvements to the house and lakefront for guests.

ENJOY A BEVERAGE AND RELAX WHILE BEING MESMERIZED BY THE SPECTACULAR VIEWS THROUGHOUT!! Bring your suitcase and food then leave the rest to us with all the amenities our lakefront home has to offer! Offers 4 bedrooms plus additional sleeping areas and 3-½ baths in this gorgeous all sports lakefront home. So many places to hang out or spread out! Excellent WIFI, cable tv, air conditioned, fully stocked kitchen with all the gadgets you need, Keurig, Traeger grill, linens, towels, beach towels, fire pit, laundry room, business center with printer & monitor, kayaks, paddle board, rowboat, fishing gear, yoga by the water (mats and blocks provided), yard/board/video games, movies and books to name a few. Pontoon boat and jet skis are also available for rent separately or bring your own water toys. Public launch down the road. Enjoy swimming, excellent fishing, boating, walking or biking the 3 mile loop around the lake, relaxing and the many amenities on site! If you want to venture out to tour the area, take a short drive to Lake Michigan, Ludington, Manistee, Pere Marquette and Pentwater to name a few for some site seeing, great restaurants and additional activities. Year-round house with excellent ice fishing right out from the dock! Please contact us if you have any questions.

2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards row boat and floaties are available at no charge. 


Please read the sleeping accommodations and review the pictures to ensure you have the arrangements you need. Beds are shown in pics and detailed in description. Tents are allowed on property if you have guests that require more sleeping spaces.

Fully stocked kitchen – spices, flour, sugar, toaster, utensils, crockpot, rice cooker, air fryer, Keurig coffee pot in kitchen and downstairs, pots and pans, serving dishes, silverware, knifes, baking sheets/pans, cookware, coffee cups, drinking glasses, mixer, blender, mixing bowls, measuring cups and spoons, wine glasses, wine fridge, S'more sticks, and much more.

Security cameras:
10 external cameras covering major entrances and exposures.
Interior cameras are on the control panel upstairs by the entry door, in the kitchen and at the bottom of the stairs. The cameras are integrated in the control panels for the lights, black roller power blinds, garage openers and music. During guest stays the control panel camera cover for the lens is shut. The camera slider on the panel covers the camera.
In the mechanical room with the furnace there is a camera so we can monitor the drain and dehumidifier should we receive a water alert. Please keep dehumidifier on and furnace door shut.

Ludington is about 20 minutes from the house. It has lots of shopping and dining options. House book has more ideas of things to do.

Fantastic family stay

We stayed at this lakefront house to celebrate a 50th anniversary with 10 kids and 8 adults. We rented the jet skis and pontoon boat also. We had an absolutely wonderful week! Everyone in our group kept commenting on how nice the place was! Everything is wonderfully kept and there was so much for everyone to do! I would definitely recommend this place!!!

Ford Lake vacation

This house was gorgeous and has all the amenities you could need for a great vacation! The lake is wonderful and it was nice to be tucked into the little cove. The fishing was great and we had a wonderful fish fry one of the nights. This home has plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and even has a spacious loft area over the garage. Fun spot!

Spacious Lakefront property

Private lakefront with large backyard, great for multiple families and families with teenagers. The house is newly updated and well maintained. We enjoyed all the lake had to offer including fishing, kayaking, and tubing. The owners are very responsive provided all the details needed for the property.

A little slice of paradise!

Lovely home and property for our large family vacation. So many amenities I couldn't possibly list them all, but we really enjoyed the dock, paddle boards, and outdoor seating for our group of 17. We made many memories and rarely left the home due to it meeting all the needs for swimming, fishing, boating and water sports. Must rent if you have a large group looking for a fantastic vacation home.

The Best Yet!

This was the third VRBO we’ve rented in the past 10 years for our Family Reunions in Michigan, and was the BEST YET! Jennifer’s communications were outstanding - helpful, immediate and accurate! All 17 of us ( ages 6-80 ) loved the location on beautiful Ford Lake, the spacious, well stocked home, and gorgeous views .

Beautiful and clean house. Owners were very welcoming and the property was very well prepared.

Excellent home for large group. Very clean and welcoming. The only drawback was this section of the lake, which was weedy and mucky, not a sandy beach. However great lake for boating and fishing.

Summer Family Vacation!

Jenn thought of everything! The house was well stocked with everything needed for the week! The small bay where the house is located provided a serene environment, while a short boat ride away you can enjoy skiing and tubing. Very easy to communicate with Jenn! We will be back!

Vacation 2024

Our family had a great week at Ford Lake. The house/property had everything that you could possibly need (kitchen equipment/yard chairs/tables/tubes). The house is proximate to the water with only one flight of stairs from lower level to water. During our stay, we did have two questions for the owner and Jenn was very responsive and replied back immediately with answers.

Family time together

We were very happy with this gorgeous, beautiful lake home! Jennifer thought of everything we might want or need to make our visit seamless between our home and hers. The extra special touches were appreciated. The whole family enjoyed S’Mores after riding jet skis all day. The large table was able to accommodate all of us for our family meals. Our all time favorite ❤️

Highly recommended!

We had 24 people of all ages staying 1 week at this lake house, it had all the amenities we needed and then some. The place was very well laid out with plenty of room for sleeping and hanging out. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. Our family had a great time at there lake house and will book again. The only negative I can say is we wish they had a Sandy beach area for the kids to play in the water right next to the house. Thanks everything we had a great time !

Magnificent VIEW!!

We really enjoyed our stay. It's truly breathtaking when you walk in for the first time. The home was well maintained and we had absolutely no issues. It was a 30 minute drive for groceries, but not too bad of a drive. I have no negatives, but a suggestion . . . a true 4th bedroom would be better than a pullout sofa. It worked for us, but not as comfortable as it could have been. We would definitely stay again, but our family is growing and we need more space, but thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family!!

Best Lakehouse on VRBO in Michigan!

Best vacation property on a lake in Michigan. Home is renovated and has everything, and I mean everything! Extremely clean and recently renovated. More like a resort than someones home. So many amenities available for use at the lake. We also rented the pontoon boat and jet skis and they were amazing. Ford Lake is very clean and the beach area was great with its own floating island to swim out to. The host was easy to reach and the directions for check in and check out along with instructions for the home and lake area were very informative and easy to use. The home is high tech with whole house sound system and several easy to use large TVs with several streaming options provided by the host. Can accommodate many family members for dinners inside and out. Many happy memories made here this week. Thanks again!

Simply AMAZING!!!

If you are looking for a relaxing getaway the whole family can enjoy, you have come to the right place! This property is absolutely beautiful. The lake is secluded and peaceful. The owners of this property have thought about every detail that will make your stay one you will never forget. My family and a few friends rented this property in mid July on 2021. The house was in immaculate shape and the owners provided many of the necessities that you would normally need to bring yourself at other properties. When traveling with kids we all know the less you have to bring the better. I promise you this rental is one you will never regret and will most likely rebook year after year. I would give it 10 stars instead of 5 if they would let me! If you are considering booking this property, do not hesitate!

Family Vacay

This house is fantastic! It included everything we needed for a group of 15+2 infants. We only needed to pack clothes because everything else was included. Plenty of sheets, towels, blankets, pillows and beach towels. The house had a great supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soap, dish soap, laundry soap, and cleaning supplies. The property was extremely clean. All of us were able to relax and enjoy the lake. The house came with 2 stand up paddle boards, a canoe, 2 kayaks, floaties and life jackets in all sizes. There was plenty of room to spread out with lots of seating options on the dock, around the fire pit and around the yard. We had three rain days, but the house had plenty of games and movies to entertain all of our little ones and adults while we were inside. The kitchen was nicely equipped with pots, pans, baking dishes, and even a good supply of little things in the pantry, like spices, olive oil, baggies, etc. There was never a shortage of silverware, plates, glasses, wine glasses or bourbon glasses. Jen was super easy to communicate with and was quick to answer any questions we had. She also has a real knack for decorating that made us feel like we were in a home away from home! We have stayed in many rentals over the years and we give this home five stars across the board in every category.

What a wonderful property!!

This property is just amazing! The views are great. The expansive yard/dock was perfect for hanging out in. It was super close to Ludington to a day of hiking. We did do the loop around the lake too and that was just a perfect walk - 3ish miles. The house has lots of areas for sleeping. Also so many fridges! That worked with so many adults with beverages and the fact that we cook A LOT! Couldn't have asked for better communication from the hosts. Very helpful and quick to respond! Thank you!! :)

Wonderful vacation

There are not enough superlatives to describe this beautiful property. The home is totally updated from the beautiful wooden floors to the high tech TVs. Plenty of room for everyone. We had a group of 17, ages 18 to 78 and everyone had a fantastic time. 2 beautiful decks to enjoy the lake view. A huge yard with a big patio table for all to sit at and enjoy the lake. The kids enjoyed swimming and floating off the dock. We had plenty of room to play bean bags. The house was well stocked and Jenn even left a welcome package with the ingredients for s'mores. Super clean, vary spacious and absolutely fantastic. I will however note that there are a lot of stairs. First floor to second floor and then stairs down to the yard. It was fine for all of us but might not be for others. If I had any questions or issues I was able to contact Jenn and she immediately got back with me. Wonderful, wonderful stay!

Lake Vacay 2022

We have been doing a family vacation with our adult kids and grandkids for the past three years. We have always done a beach vacation, but this year decided to do a lake vacation:) Overall consensus was that it was more relaxing and a nice change of pace. The house was beautiful and well-stocked with a fantastic view of the lake. We had a great time tubing with the pontoon, jumping and fishing off the dock, and relaxing by the firepit. The owners were great, and I would recommend this property for large groups and families:)

Fun Family Vacation

We Had a great time for our annual family vacation. The property had plenty of space for our 3 families. The house had many modern amenities and everything else we needed. Had a blast out on the lake, cruising, swimming and tubing and there was even two docks we could use at the property to park our ski boat. Thanks for the memories!

Had a wonderful time and exceeded all our expectations!

I've rented vacation properties in the past , but this vacation home was the best by far. The house was extremely clean, spotless. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need, including a blender and waffle maker, you name it they had it. Plenty of extra towels and even shower robes in the bathrooms. Nice deck and relaxing shaded back yard. Perfect place for families with kids or adults only. We rented the pontoon boat as well, we had a blast on the lake. Life jackets and towable tube,all included. Highly recommended , i would come back any time.

We are the Moneypenny’s (Adam, Jenn, Bishop, Aidan & Kellen) and as a family we wanted to create a space to enjoy the lake with our large family and offer our home to other families and groups to make fun lasting memories.

Jenn grew up with the tradition of renting a yearly cabin with her mom, aunt, sister and all their kids. Everyone looked forward to getting together for a fun relaxing vacation on the water each year. As the kids grew and had their own families the group became larger and larger. Finding a large enough space with all the accommodations were sometimes challenging so we wanted to make a space to accommodate large families and groups.
