We had a gorgeous family holiday in this fabulous house. It is right in the village, beautiful, really spacious and loads of room for everyone. Gorgeous little courtyard garden, very large pool with views across the valley. Steps away from bars and restaurants and a very handy little supermarket a 3 minute walk away. Really hard to beat. Parking looks a bit scary in the narrow road - and for the uninitiated it’s the bit opposite the white garage door. But you get the hang of it pretty quickly. Highly recommended and we want to return.
This beautiful 16th Century house was exquisite in every way from the large rooms with amazing antiques, to the high chandeliers, to gardens of flowers, and the large clear blue pool, I and my guests were more than comfortable. I cooked the cuisine in the huge well equipped kitchen with a enormous hearth, the local duck, truffles, walnuts and Bergerac wines of the local villages and vineyards.. writhing close proximity to other villages such as Sarlat, you could go to the markets, and the chateaux and the caves steeped in history of the Neanderthal living there 40,0000 years ago!! Canoeing on the dorDogne River, and just sitting out on the pool deck enjoying the sunset. Peace and tranquility is this area of France and beauty everywhere!!
