Le Quartz : Indépendance, Vue, Calme et Confort

Close to many winter sports resorts and mythical passes of the Tour de France, its location at an altitude of 1415 meters will delight lovers of hiking, nature and outdoor sports.

The apartment at Le Quartz is independent and located on the garden level of the chalet, it is south facing and measures 65m2.
The entrance is through the living room open to the living room and the equipped kitchen. It is composed of a master bedroom with a queen size bed (180 x 200cm) which opens directly onto the garden, and a comfortable mountain area with two bunk beds.

The wood stove is located in the center of the apartment and will allow you to spend warm evenings in the coldest moments of winter.
The use of the piano and the stove is under your responsibility and in good use. We will provide firewood.

You can also enjoy an outdoor table, a table tennis table in good weather and the shared garden.

We leave it to you to maintain the apartment and leave it as you found it. (We will take care of cleaning the wood stove).
If you don't want to worry about cleaning, we can take care of it for a fee (please let us know when you make your reservation).

Do not hesitate to let us know your expectations or requests in order to make your stay unforgettable. We will be able to advise you on discovery itineraries, and can possibly lend some equipment (sleds, snowshoes, raclette or fondue machines).

We remind you that snow chains or equipment are mandatory from November 1st to April 1st. Access is regularly cleared of snow. You can park two vehicles on the flat lot right next to the house.

You will have exclusive access to the apartment located on the garden level of the house and on the flat land near the table, the rest of the garden is shared.

Away from the hustle and bustle of the high altitude resorts, the environment of this apartment is exceptional in many respects (view, fauna, flora) and allows you to take many walks or hikes of all levels from the house. Each season has its own activities: hiking, mountain biking and cycling in the summer season; snowshoeing, sledging and ski touring during the winter.

Many winter sports resorts are within a 45-minute drive:
The Sybelles ski area (4th largest ski area in France) via the Bottières lifts (10 min) or the resort of La Toussuire (20 min), Val Thorens and the 3 Valleys ski area via the Orelle gondola (40 min), the Karellis, Valmeinier, Valloire, La Norma, St-François-Longchamp.

Two restaurants are located near the apartment: the Chalet de la Tuvière which offers aperitifs, Nordic baths and dinners on reservation (300 m), and the Chamb'ô snack bar located in a high-altitude hamlet and out of time (1.5 km).

The other shops (bakery, tobacconist, newsagent) and supermarkets are located in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne (20 min), so we advise you to do your shopping before going up to the apartment. A large refrigerator and freezer will allow you to build up the stock you need for your stay.

The 200Mbit/s Fiber allows you a fast connection. The large HD TV allows movie nights by the fire thanks to Molotov.
Board games and books will also be available.

This accommodations are located on the edge of a natural site, the fauna and flora are abundant (marmots, birds of prey, squirrels, foxes, insects, lizards, etc.), thank you for respecting these discreet neighbors.
