Unpleasant experience in Paris

Booked two nights in Paris, had very little communication from host until I followed up. Notified host of our arrival time and told we will be charged 30 Euro for late arrival, which was never advertised. Was told someone will meet us to check in, arrived at properry and waited for 1.5 hours and can't get in touch with host. Apartment is not as advertised, no block out blinds in lounge room where my daughter had to sleep, bed is a couch, linens not up to standard and bathroom is not very clean. To make matter worst, had a holding deposit and the host took 30euro for the late arrival fee. Would never stay here again.

Couldn't travel due to family illness

I have completed this feedback as requested by Vrbo but, just to be clear, we were not able to travel to the property due to my father in law becoming seriously ill a few days before which meant we had to cancel last minute. I have given 5 stars for everything because the host has been extremely understanding about our situation and their communication was excellent throughout. However, I can't confirm what the property was like because we didn't see it, but I would have no hesitation in booking again.

While the location is great, this property needs a serious upgrade/renovation to match the "photoshopped" pictures and descriptions.

Great location

Only a short 5 minute walk to the metro, great restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Host was very communicative with quick responses. The only snag we had, was the apartment wasn’t ready when we received the text saying it was. Cleaning lady was still there when we walked in.

Excellent Location

The location is perfect, with easy access to the George V metro stop. It really does accomodate up to 4 adults. The cost is an excellent value for the size & location of the apartment. The host responds quickly to questions. Information on how to access the apartment only arrived the day of check in which made communication difficult with other members of our party. Issues were a lack of instructions provided on the apartment (eg, wifi password), or information on the community. Plus the refrigerator needed to be defrosted (the freezer section was completely frozen).

Paris mini-hen

The property was in a fantastic location, close to the main attractions and the hop-on hop-off bus, which was perfect for our stay. Unfortunately the check-in instructions weren’t very clear so took us a while to find and the owner wasn’t very forthcoming when we said our flight was delayed and would therefore be about 45 mins later (can’t be helped and I messaged as soon as we knew). Accommodation could have been cleaner, but the balcony was an added bonus! Overall we had a good stay at the accommodation.

Wonderful Experience from Booking to Leaving

This location is amazing. Security of the building was great - although instructions for when we arrive could have been more clear. We stood around for 10 or so minutes trying to figure out how to get inside - there were two codes... Communication was wonderful with the host. The place was clean & comfortable. Would definitely recommend & would stay again.

Great location!

The location of the apartment was great, close to all of the sights right off the Champs Élysées. It was pretty noisy at night which we should’ve expected as there’s restaurants and bars all around the area. The only negative is that it could’ve been a little bit cleaner, but overall was a great stay! Great communication from the host as well.

Wonderful shopping location!

Steps away from the Champs-Elysees and all of the fancy shopping and .5 mile walking to the Arc and close to Metro stops. The family room is very spacious for a city apartment (this is the 2nd bedroom). The shower could be a bit cleaner. We enjoyed our stay.
