Welcome to Spruce Tree! Our serene, spacious newly renovated 1890's Catskill farmhouse with over 2400 sq. ft. for you to enjoy. Nestled on a quiet dead-end street with the scenic Schoharie Creek at your front porch, our home sits at the base of Hunter Mountain. At Spruce Tree you can enjoy all the privacy our property has to offer while still being in the center of it all. Walk to the movies at the Mountain Cinema or brunch at Fellow Mountain Cafe. Walk to Hunter's Oktoberfest and other festivals where everyone can enjoy the brews and views and stroll home! After skiing, shredding, hiking, biking, leaf-peeping, antiquing or just sightseeing around the mountains, relax in our traditional indoor sauna or soak in our BRAND-NEW outdoor hot-tub with direct access from backyard deck. Cozy up by the fireplace or wood stove. Play darts, board games, or watch a movie in one or both of our two living rooms on large flat screen televisions (kids love having a movie room all to themselves!!). Sit on the front porch with a good book, cup of coffee and the sounds of the creek. Enjoy the backyard BBQ, fire pit, and yard games in the fresh mountain air.

While you may never want to leave the house, we are conveniently located to many attractions. We are in the village of Hunter, very close to Tannersville for shopping and restaurants (we list all our favs in our welcome book on property), North South Lake and Colgate Lake for hiking and swimming, the famous Kaaterskill Falls (definitely Instagram worthy!) and Windham for more great restaurants and more mountain activities. We are an easy beautiful drive to Phoenicia, Woodstock, Hudson, Catskill. Great for day trips!
